The Backstory
What started out as what would have been one of the worlds greatest protectors would become one of it's most sinister overlords.A machine was being designed to protect humanity.This Machine would be able to do the unimagineable but before it could be created the plans were stolen by an evil machine named Mech Vangaurd.
In a possible future Imperian 1 was built as the first in an army of machines planning to destroy all organic life.Mech Vangaurd used a newly invented metal he stole called imperian to build this machine.The imperian metal was based off of impervium.It was every bit as strong,E.M.P. resistant,could liquify under the right conditions,and can self repair if any damage was done to it......this metal seemed indestructable.Imperian 1 was only the first of thousands of machines built just like himself.The only thing different about him was the A.I. Mech Vangaurd gave to him so he would be able to lead this army.
During one of his salvage missions he came across a scientist that was dying.He saw a possible usefullness in this man and spared his life only to turn the man into a monster.His old name lost this man became known as Nethyr.Because of Nethyr Imperian 1's army grew much faster and were much more powerful.Finally the day came when Mech Vangaurds plan would go into action.Imperian 1 led the Army into port oaks to begin the war on humanity.Many of the worlds heroes and villains alike came to the warground to try to stop them.During the battle Imperian 1 sent up a laser into space destroying a Rikti ship causing a third army to join the battle.Many heroes and villains were killed by the hands of imperian including the Statesmen himself.As horrible as this battle was it was only a distraction for the true plan.Mech Vangaurd was prepareing a nuke right under the noses of the armies.The bomb was set off killing most of the meta-humans while the survivors were found and destroyed by the imperians.only five of these meta-humans were sparedbut their fate would be worse than death.Under the supervision of Imperian 1 Nethyr turned these people into cold heartless machines.Imperian 1,Nethyr,and these five people along with another machine designed to kill became Mech Vangaurds seven generals.He gave each of them the name of one of the seven deadly sins.Imperian 1 became Envy.After three years of slaughter the resistance traveled to another Dimension that was identical to their own but five years behind them.This dimension was our own.Imperian 1 and the general known as pride followed them into this time in order to stop them.Now an epic struggle has begun in our own time that will decide weather we have an apocolyptic fate or if we choose our own destiny and have a better future.But Envy has plans of his own.
