Hybrid Delta Series Concept
The genetic sequence of a human base is cracked at certain key weak points, and selected bits of metahuman DNA are grafted into place, after which the resultant unit is sent to Training.
In contrast to the somewhat unified guidelines of the Hybrid Alpha Series, products in the Hybrid Delta Series tend to be unique works of art. Their primary ability is one of the more costly-to-body-resources powers harvested from other I.I. research-and-cataloguing projects. Even the base used as a template is selected with greater care, for physical potential as well as the foundations of personality.
Hybrid Delta minions have greater problem-solving ability. They can handle condition-dependent instructions, abstract goals, or short-range strategy problems.
In addition to the programming emplaced in the Hybrid Alphas during Training, the Hybrid Delta Series minions are equipped with limited control permissions over Hybrid Alpha Series minions. The right Delta is able to manage a team of Alpha Series minions according to little more than a parameter set describing a desired outcome and known obstacles.
Infinity Inc is particularly proud of Hybrid Delta Series hyperdextrous teleporter Killing Dance, a functioning psychopath reshaped into happily useful service as a bodyguard, an assassin, a retrieval specialist, and (most often) an enforcer. Other examples of Hybrid Delta Series minions run the gamut from Grigaere (field medic and interrogator, offered exclusively in a package with his designed unit of wolf-based Alphas) through more versatile resources such as Brigid's Verse (pyrokinetic crowd management specialist), Ceylon Spinel (ranged assassination and covert observation), or Sutra-Dhara Anima (bio-electric field manipulator). Rare leasing opportunities may be supported by Kinba Kushi, the best-performing solo retrieval specialist in our recent generation of prototypes.

Names
The new identity of the freshly-created Hybrid Series minion was determined before the first treatment to implant segments of DNA into the chosen human template. Typically it was chosen before the living body was acquired; Acquisitions may only have a blueprint number to go with their search parameters, but the Physical and Behavioral Design personnel attached to the project have a clear picture already of what should result from their work. The new name is part of the behavioral programming, which in turn is founded in the physical design.
Delta Hybrid names are art titles, as the Delta itself is artwork from Simon Arkangel's collection. Only one example exists of a single-word title, an adaptation of the Middle High German word "gîgære" meaning "fiddler". The majority of Delta titles are two words, some of them art concepts (Lamarra Lit-bu-yan, Calliope Cries) and others are Arkangel's living gemstones (Onyx Veracity, Ceylon Spinel).
Hybrid Interactions
Deltas are, at the most fundamental study, standard human bodies with superpowers artificially imbued. Since the form did not naturally grow into this state, a Hybrid Delta Series minion's body does not have the inherent build-up and relaxation of power around use of power. A Delta's body generates high amounts of energy at almost all times, requiring strict metabolism control and dietary oversight ... and also requiring opportunities for controlled release of excess energy when not actively engaged in power usage!
Michael Arkangel specifically altered the core process of Alpha creation, the process that combines mammalian DNA seamlessly with the host human, so that Alpha Hybrids can safely absorb a Delta Hybrid's built-up energy through firm skin contact. In return for relieving pressure on the Delta's system, the Alpha's pain receptors are temporarily numbed -- making medical treatment a far more straightforward prospect.
Deltas are not actually superior to Alphas, from the Training and Behavioral Design points of view. Deltas are unique works of art, they are designed to be strategists to some degree, and they often carry a higher individual leasing price because they are more expensive to create. Deltas have less sensory data to process at any given time, which frees up their higher cognitive processes to assume a greater load of abstract reasoning; in some situations, they best contribute to a team effort by narrowing the focus each associated Alpha must maintain in order to accomplish their task.

DO NOT touch any Hybrid Delta Series subject at any time, as physical contact is an automatic "Kill" trigger.
DO NOT attempt to place physical restraints directly upon the body of any Hybrid Delta Series subject; consult your manual to determine whether one of the Infinity, Inc. minions included in your lease is qualified to administer restraints upon the other subjects. Typically restraints should not be needed for Delta management, as they are capable of receiving instruction in conversational format; in the event of an exceptional circumstance, order Hybrid Delta Series minions into the provided portable cage. Hybrid Series minions may be stored in a single portable cage (of sufficient horizontal dimension) unless specifically noted otherwise. DO NOT enter the portable cage under any circumstance. DO NOT place valuables or personnel in the Hybrid Series cage unless it will not be wanted back in any condition.
Provide only approved nutrient-balanced food, in recommended dosages, to Hybrid Delta Series subjects. Hybrid Delta Series minions have very carefully tuned metabolisms. Sudden shocks to the metabolic processes will result in aberrant behavior.
WE RECOMMEND immediate correction for unruly behavior, generally of the applied pain variety, to the point of brief screaming or extended cowering. For markedly pleasing results above and beyond expectations, the lessee might consider the gift of a small luxury experience or an appropriate souvenir, or (if suitable to current plans) an extended rest period in a quiet, contained location.
