Criminal Activites

- Amassed a legion of mutant super insect living in secret catacombs within the Earth. She attempted to use these minions to take over the surface world, starting with Steel Canyon, Paragon City. She was promptly thwarted by the Palladium Sentry.

- Escaped from the Ziggursky Penitentiary. Using her Colony, she attacked the Faultline dam and attempted to introduce a mutagen capable of turning all who drink from the water into arthropods. Her plan was foiled, and upon defeat she managed to escape.

Known Background Information

As a child Delores Fields barely had any friends while her family was very inattentive towards her. Out of boredom, she would spend many days laying in her backyard, watching the various bugs live out there lives. It was because of this she developed an interest in insects. With no one else to count on in her life, she grew very attached to these tiny creatures.

Eventually, after graduating from the University of Paragon City, she became an entomologist, dedicating her life to studying these small creatures. As the years had gone by she grew more and more detached from humanity, envying how bugs were able to function as a singular unit, a colony, working together to reach common goals.

During a particular field study in one of Paragon City's many hazardous zones, she stumbled upon a secret tunnel system. Investigating it, she discovered a species of human-sized super insects. Initially hostile towards the intruder, the bugs attacked Delores. This intense situation had caused the latent mutant abilities Delores possessed to surface, allowing her to communicate with the insects and call off the attack. Realizing her gift, it didn't take long before she had asserted herself as their leader, convincing the colony she knew what was best for them. As time had gone by, her mutation granted her the proportionate strength of an ant and durability of a beetle, as well.

Readying her armies of super insects, Delores Fields is the Insect Queen, leader of the Colony. She plans to rid the world of the inferior species known as humanity no matter what it takes.

Powers and Weaknesses

The Insect Queen possesses the proportionate strength of an ant, allowing her to lift objects many times her weight and size. She has also developed the proportionate strength of a beetle, making her capable to fend off even the strongest of attacks with little harm. Along with these traits, she wields the ability to communicate with insects, big or small.

However, intense heat and cold related attacks seem to do more damage to her than most other attacks, along with psionic attacks.
