History
Following family tradition Jaded Avenger joined the marines at age 18 and spent the next 9 years excelling at everything they threw at him. A decorated soldier and member of the special forces as well as a member of research and developement, Jaded had access to the very best training and tools available in the world. Nearing the end of his ninth year of service a town located very near the base he was stationed at had a rash of senseless murders and the local police were baffled. Jaded Avenger insisted that the marines help out, but he was told "our hands are tied, let the locals deal with it." This enranged him and he lost all respect for a unit of government sworn to protect but does nothing. That night he went AWOL taking with him a few items he had been working on in R&D of which included rocket propelled boots, nano tech health suit, and some hand to hand weapons. "if they won't do anything, I will!" After tracking down and slaughtering the criminal he made national news and became an overnight sensation. Do to his public exposure the marines decided from a public relations standpoint to not pursue this military criminal as long as he did not implicate them in the development of his technology. Jaded was however dishonorably discharged. and promptly forgoten. In the next few months he had slipped from the public eye and moved to Paragon in hopes to make a difference.

Jaded is by not a hero or a villian for that matter. He lies somewhere in the middle and is the reason he often works alone. His "by what ever means nessisary" philosophy would not sit right with many of the card carrying heroes of Paragon. His highly agrressive crime fighting style has been noted by some villians as being just as bad as them because of his eye for an eye attitude.On the flip side, when not "working" Jaded is a very relaxed guy who is known to frequent pocket D as well as other interesting spots in the Paragon nightlife.People who know Jaded might describe him as an honest straight shooter with a hopefull romantic side. His weakness for women and alcohol is probably his bigest social fault, though he wouldnt agree.
Costume/Equipment
Being that Jaded Avenger has no real super powers his costume is also his life line. The tools contained in the suit consist of three major parts. First and foremost is the suit itself, its a nano suit and repairs any injuries he should sustain almost instantly as well as give him added protection from heat and cold. Secondly his boots are special rocket propelled boots that sheild him from the enormous amount of heat that is generated by the boosters that can rocket him up to near one hundred miles per hour. Lastly his weapons, or claws if you like, these claws crafted from experimental metal and near indesructable are razor sharp and strike with deadly acuracy. As jobs call for more and more tricks to fight the ever increasing power of the criminals he adds more tools to his arsenal. to top it all off is a custom paint job that he created in his own personal style.
