Jamie Stone was a kid born on a border line, his mother being a Longbow Ballista and his father a Arbiter. When it came time for them to find out who will keep him, the mother stood up and claimed him, thinking it would be best for him. At the age of 18, Jamie was attending a University in Steel Canyon when his mother recieved a urgent call to fight against Arachnos, and her husband Arbiter Crash. At that time she didn't know Jamie signed up to become a member of longbow. Thinking it would not be safe for him, she told him to get out of the mission, but he refused and joined the 5th squad team. Realizing it's not safe for him to find out that Jamie decided to fight his other half of his family, Ballista Jane forced the 5th squad to be on standby until the 4th squad tells them to attack. Thinking outside the box, Jamie went incognito into the battlefield and watched his mother in action. He then realized that his mom was no match for the Arbiter and jumped in trying to save her, but before he can blow his cover, a rogue brute in stone armor spawned from the ground, crushing his mother until she had no life in her.
Realizing that none of his aunts and uncles will take him in due to his powers, he was forced to live with his birth-father, Arbiter Crash. Refusing to accept him in anyway, Jamie became cold towards anyone who came towards him. A few years later, he starts warming up to his new surroundings, and started to continue his education secretly in Cap Au Diable. Then one night, he noticed something was going on in a abandoned factory in Sharkhead and decided to take a look in. Spotting Arachnos soldiers getting set for a ambush, he decides to stick around and hid behind a few boxes in a dark corner. A few hours passed and no one showed up. Thinking it is nothing but a hoax, Jamie was about to jump out a window near where he was siting, until a car pulled up outside. Not sure of who came out, he stares long and hard at the two men walking into the ambush. Then he realizes the first guy to come into the light was his father! Then the soldiers stood up and took aim at him. Acting without thinking of the situation, Jamie transformed into pure electricity and covered his father, absorbing all the attacks Arachnos throws his way. His father then summons his arsenal and gets set to battle a long war. During the fight, Jamie lost control of his powers and exploded, forcing everyone near him to take heavy damage. Exausted and hurt from all he has took in, Jamie saw no one was left standing, except for his dad who was right behind them. Thinking it was safe, Jamie slowly started to walk over to his father, saying to himself: "Get him, get out, deny everything." But then he notices his father covered in rubble and pebbles from a stone, like he was forcing it off of him.
Frustrated now that he realizes he's all alone, Jamie now wonders both Paragon City and the Rogue Isles hoping to find the rogue stone man, so he can crush him the same way he done to his family. At the age of 22, he finally found a clue before giving up and hiding out. The stone tanker goes by the name of Stonewell Mistress, which was the name of his ex-girlfriend back in Steel.
