Young Gerard Braun "Junior" is the product of a forgotten project of the old Fifth Column to create several clones of one of their top super-soldiers. Their plan was to form a team of sleeper agent 'heroes' led by the original. The plot was thwarted by a team of unknown heroes who, unwittingly assuming them to be vampyre pods, destroyed all of the clone tanks except one.

His accelerated growth halted in his 'mid-teens' and his powers yet to manifest fully, Junior had no real purpose in the old regime or the new Council - until now. His physical 'age' placing him in early college, and his programmed education making straight-A's easy, he is now the model student - and a perfect recruiting scout for the Council!

Gerard is a social chameleon. He is trained to quickly assess personalities and react in a way that allows him to fit in and be accepted. Usually this means he's taken a subtly submissive or meek stance around other villains of the Rogue Isles. In school, his assignments typically had him befriend a classmate and then gradually reel them into the Council.

Over the past 4 years Gerard has formed a personality that he most enjoys 'wearing'. He now almost exclusively displays that one, and has begun reinforcing it against his training to shift. He still uses his training to fit in, but not so drastically that he practically becomes a different person.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Despite having standard Council combat training, Gerard is not a physical powerhouse. His young age and preference for attacking telepathically rather than physically has given him a fairly light physique.

Gerard never refined his telekinetic abilities to the point of sustained or subtle control. The best he's ever been able to manage have been violent bursts of force. As a result, he has learned how to use this to hurl himself long distances and cushion his landings from great heights.

Equipment

Gerard is trained in all modern and a few high-tech weapons but carries very few with him when acting at full psionic strength, instead relying on his telepathic abilities to rip his victims' minds apart.

Drawing upon his weapon training, Gerard has begun practicing with two daggers recently.

Gerard has mentioned being intimidated by clowns, and especially "creeped out" by female clowns like the Harlequins of the Carnival of Shadows.
