Born on the 23rd of April 1982 to Andre and Sophie Ivanov. No other details have been noted or released by Riverdene

Training

Katarina entered the Russian Military in June 2001 not long after her 18th birthday. She had completed her basic training six weeks later in the later part of July 2001. Her initial deployment was in the Moscow Military district. Following her initial deployment Katarina maintained a high level of physical fitness, with regularly recorded test levels rivalling those of her male colleagues she also displayed an ability to work cohesively with a team or on her own and as such in March of 2002 she completed her advanced weapons training and in the beginning of 2003 she completed the advanced field training.

In June 2003 Katarina was transferred by GRU (the foreign military intelligence directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) to Spetsgruppa A (alfa group) the counter terrorist unit that belongs to OSNAZ (special-purpose forces) of the FSB (former KGB), or more specifically the "A" Directorate of the FSB Special Operations Center (TsSN) where she served for over four years, at some point during this time she was noticed by Riverdene and somehow she was 'transferred' from alfa group to the Paragon City chapter of The Codex in the spring of 2008. Currently the Kremlin is not forth coming with details of its spetsnaz personal / operational details or units and no other information has been released.

Served with the Russian Millitary, and Spetsgruppa A under the FSB, further service details are not forth coming from the kremlin , she was recruited into 'The Codex' when Paragon City chapter became live in 2008

Thermoptic Camoflage

Katarina is luckky enought to own one of a few prototype suits of 'Thermoptic Camoflage' that have been developed by the Russian special forces. When activated Thermoptic Camoflage bends light rays arond a projection matrix, making the user almost invisible. When stationry the camoflaged person is almost impossible to spot. Moving however distorts the field and can make the background seem to warp as the field moves across it.

Katarina has, it seems brought a small arsenel with her. She usually carries a Makarov PM in a holster on her left hip she has also been observed using a pair of Glock 22 pistols which she wears on her body harness and a HK VP70 which she always carries in an ankle holster.
