History
Childhood
Kyle was always a mutant, and always knew it. Ever since his birth he had been able to use mind reading powers, however they were weaker back then. It was harmless considering he didn't know how to exactly use his powers, but he enjoyed having them to an extent. It did however mark him as an 'outcast' in school. He barely made any friends, and people usually avoided him due to his odd blue hair, and weird powers. Even though people rejected him, he continued to try and put a positive spin on things. Kids had called him "King Crazy" as a joke. They thought this was clever since his last name was 'King', and one of the rumors that floated around was that he was so insane he got powers.
He had never known where his powers came from in his family's bloodline. Doctors attempted to discover why he was the only one in his family to ever have super natural powers, but they couldn't discover why. Research on this led to the downfall of the family however. When Kyle was around ten years old, his life began becoming a mess. One day as he came home from school, he noticed the eerie feel as he approached his home in Atlas Park. He opened the door to the empty house and walked inside the dark house.
"Hello?" he spoke in a timid tone as he shuffled around the house. Suddenly someone grabbed him from behind, and he was gassed with a knock-out gas to prevent him from fighting back. Kyle awoke in a prison in a cave. He had no idea where he was, but he knew it wasn't a good place to be. He attempted to escape, but as he got up he noticed both his hands and feet were tied. He began to yell, "HELP!" but received no reply. Suddenly he heard voices in the distance.
"Yeah, kid's a freak. Rumor is his parents aren't mutants, but he is. We're gonna see if thats true or not soon enough though," followed by some laughing and common chatter. Kyle slumped back in his jail cell silently crying. Suddenly the door slid open, and a Council soldier standing about six feet tall stood in the doorway.
"Get up!" he said, grabbing Kyle by the shoulder, and literally dragging him out of the cell. The man threw Kyle on the metallic catwalk that was outside the cell door, and kicked him. "I said get up!" Kyle obeyed and slowly stumbled onto his feet, which were not untied. He was pushed along the catwalk, and the giant cave system to a sort of lab. He as motioned into a chamber, where he had a clear view of the cruel experiments the Council scientists were doing on their test subjects. However the worst part, was the test subjects were Kyle's parents. Kyle watched, crying and yelling as his parents were put into chemical chambers, poked with large needles, and tortured like animals. After the last experiment however, they couldn't take it anymore. The gasses and chemicals were too strong for their human bodies, and the radiation levels too high. Kyle witnessed his parents' die right in front of him by the men who captured him.
Kyle over heard some of the scientists talk outside, "This is getting us no where!" One spoke. The other turned to the man, and nodded.
"Agreed. His parents had no connection with the mutant DNA. If we want the super soldier project to make progress we'll need to experiment on the boy, at least we know he has the mutant DNA."
"Indeed. However the origin of his mutations are key to the formula. We'll keep him around just in case it falls back on using just him to continue the project." After the man finished his sentence, the two walked away and disappeared out a door. Suddenly a Council soldier opened the door to the room Kyle was locked in, and pulled him out.
Kyle spent months in the prison, without hope of his future. He had it down that he was going to die, if not rot in the jail forever. He had been through multiple tests and had the scars to prove it. He had let them use his body as a guinea-pig for the project, and at this point he really didn't care. Seeing his parents be murdered like they were part of a Nazi experiment was the last time he really felt any emotion in the months that had passed. However, suddenly a glimpse of hope had shined as trouble seemed to appear for the Council in the base. He heard a lot of marching, which suddenly spiked his curiosity. Kyle pressed his bruised and beaten body to the cold metal door, and turned his ear to the door to hear what was going on outside.
All Kyle could hear were gunshots and screaming. Someone was out there that wasn't suppose to be there, and Kyle was curious who it was who was coming to his rescue.</nowiki>
