Character History
Jastronome Gerrard is one of the few remaining Changelings in the world of man. Surrounded on all sides by advancing disbelief, mystical cabals seeking his blood and birthright, and mystic 'enforcement' agencies attempting to leash his wyld powers and nature, Gerrard fled the fae courts and established a floating freehold high above the world that he saw as imperfect and inherently flawed. Aboard the "Arcadian Wind", the self-styled air-pirate became The Knocker King, pillaging ley-line crossings and places of power along the world, collecting cast off scraps from the dreams of inventors, forging and twisting nervosa and nightmares into his own grand designs of golems and mechanical constructs.
The Arcadian Wind
The Arcadian Wind is a steam-tech era airship with robotic construction and production bays. The airship itself is real, but the guts of the ship have been altered and twisted by decades of tinkering by the fae Knocker King. The ship in it's current form is a flying freehold, a mobile nexus of belief Lay Lines with a Balefire engine core. The Arcadian Wind is currently circling Paragon City and the Rogue Isles apparently without captain or direction as The Knocker King has been unable to resume proper control of the vessel and bring it back to earth.
The ship is heavily armed with flak-cannons, internal energy turret emplacements, a robotic crew, and is repelling any and all attempts at boarding. Arachnos and Paragon air-control have labeled it a mobile hazard zone, and recommend all heroes and Destined ones steer clear of the large, angry, rogue gunship.
A brief detail of the history of the Arcadian wind and hints as to The Knocker King's past are detailed here.
The Return
The Knocker King's first raid on Paragon began after the first Rikti war. The greatest minds on the planet were gravitating to Paragon, good and evil to help rebuild or pillage the Greatest City. With them came the greatest dreams and nightmares to plunder for new chimera to construct.
What he found was a city gripped both by fear and hope, an impossible combination irresistible to Knocker King, a being who fed on the broken dreams of humanity itself.
The Arcadian Wind was put into low Orbit around Paragon city, and the Knocker King began the invasion of the dreams of Paragon. What he was hoping to find is currently unknown
A full detail of The Knocker King's eventual clash with M.A.G.I is detailed here
The Escape
Reduced to a lonely Zig prisoner, surrounded by the oppressive doom of incarceration, The Knocker King began to wither and fade, leaving not the Changeling he was, but a simple, human Jastronome Gerrard.

Affiliations
The Knocker King has no formal affiliations, following the whim and whimsy of terror and chaos that ignites the magic in his soul wherever it takes him. The King can often be found floating around the chaos that is any [hhttp://www.virtueverse.net/wiki/Knocker_King/The_Cape Cape Radio] broadcast

Personality
A perfectionist to a Fault, The Knocker King respects those who also display the kind of hyper competence he expects from his mechanical Tweedle armies. The fact that none of the Tweedles display the ruthless efficiency he expects to go along with their love of spreading destruction, only underlines the fact that Knocker has yet to return to his proper seat of power, leaving him mostly frustrated and resentful of what mechanical constructs he has been able to call down from his Airship so far.
Dry of humor, quick of wit, and sharp of tongue, the Knocker King is quick to laugh, and quick to anger, with a default setting of "annoyed" at having to mix again with humanity while he attempts to re-establish contact and control of his Airship.
Powers and Abilities
The Knocker King is a savant level inventor and engineer. Able to pull the fear and terror of machines out of the highly-technical dreams of the Rogue Isles, Knocker can create whirring gear-terrors that would rival the Clockwork in Paragon, if he were ever to regain control of his repair and construction bays aboard the Arcadian Wind. As it stands he only has enough control over the Airship to call down surgical strike teams to aim him.
The Knocker King has also learned to use the various and highly toxic hydraulic fluids and lubrication from his machines to harm others and heal his constructs. Anyone moving too close to the Knocker will find their eyes and faces sprayed with the very skin-flaying nightmare liquids that pump in the mechanical veins of his Chimera.
