Powers & Abilities
Most of Krosuns abilities are supernatural by concept. They were bestowed to him upon his creation, in a sense 'born' with them. And with no technological devices amplifying them, this is the reasoning behind his natural origin. Willpower is not an excuse for other powers and abilities. Its exactly what it sounds like, and so his actual ingame abilities are explained in how they're applied to his In character performance.
Super Strength: With the intent of creating the perfect fighting machine; a last 'boss' if you will to break any resistance that'd make it to the Dunal Keep, the single creator of the Eight Watchers granted in Krosun the strength to break any will in hand to hand fighting, the traditional test of mettle and honor in his dimension.
Gift of the Ancients: In times of desperation, through the strings of several dimensions, Krosun can summon the will and blessing of his creators. This temporary 'buff' makes him more resilient than he normally is, increasing the rate at which he regenerates from wounds.
Nerves of Steel: Designed to outlast any foe he'd encounter in his home dimension, his nerves are akin to the strongest of steels. His tolerance for Pain and damage is remarkable. This does not make him a pain freak, however, so he still avoids painful encounters as much as the next individual.
Devout Resolution: With as much devotion to his cause as he has, he refuses to succumb to failure. This resolute nature makes him quite resistant to damaging effects. That is to say, a cut will still make him bleed, and besides infection and disease his body is still forced to adhere to the physics of this dimension. He's resistant, but his skin is not impervium.
Courageous Faith: For how he looks, one would hardly peg him as a religious individual. That isn't to say he is religious, but it's part of his nature, a reason to his existence. With boundless courage at his disposal every moment of every day, it becomes very unlikely that anyone or anything can deter him from a task more than once. This means traps, tricks, and other back-handedness do little to upset, anger, or distract him. His aim is true, and his courage worn on his chest. Through and Through, until his job is finished.
Recovery Mastery: Krosuns platinum trait. He has a nearly indomitable regeneration rate. This is highly dependent on his concentration and awareness though. Once focused and honed in on a single confrontation, one better be packing bite to match their bark, and the will to use every last bit of it, as that's likely what it'll take to bring down the giant.
Traitor Amidst the Pack: Following his defeat at the hands of a platoon of Ghost Hounders, Krosun was furious, livid. His trip to hell earned him a new 'life' so to speak. He knew hatred, betrayal, and contempt. Quietly, someone from inside Ghost Hound made him an irefusable offer. He was given several hundred rounds of every ammunition type Ghost Hound had at its disposal. Krosuns regenerative abilities are adaptive. New damage types from new enemies will be most effective the first few fights he has with new foes. After that, his body becomes attuned to recent damage, and the massive effects dwindle away, becoming far less effective with each moment he's exposed to it. All rounds received were cataloged and studied by the Abyss Empire. Particularly, Krosun was exposed to the secondary effects of every type sent. Increasing the bounds of his regenerative abilities by an untold, and so far untested amount.
In For the Long Haul: Krosun has no timelimit to complete his overall task. Therefore he may sway from cause to cause helping whomever he chooses too. With such a wide array of combative abilities and freedom, he must maintain the willpower and desire to see every fight he crosses into to the end.
Precognitive Senses: This machine's perfection is limited. While his ability in fights are substantial, he is not all some make him hyped up to be. He is a regenerative fiend, but by all means still vulnerable in any other sense. He does retain, to some degree, a Precognitive mind, able to only partly sense what's normally not obvious at first glance. This Heightened Sense of Awareness also grants him firm mental barriers, making effortless proddings into his mind virtually useless in attempt. Only a tried and tested Psychic will be able to wind their way past such barriers. But even then, he has his failsafes. Tread carefully.
Demonic Co-Pilot: Subduing and overcoming the Great Earl Raum, proved to be a valuable experience, a lesson in which he'd take with him from then to eternity. There are other reasons why he allows the essence to reside intertwined with his spirit though. At will, he is able to stir this essence, awaken it and allow it to consume him. This provides a nearly invincible aura that makes him impervious to practically all damage period, and increases his senses to a point where he's untouchable. This is only temporary, the duration is dependent upon the use of the essence lately. Using it over and over in a short period of time will reduce its duration substantially to the point of having no effect at all, and each use by curse or otherwise is followed shortly by a stake of mortality being thrust through him, virtually eradicating his regeneration for a short period.
Nature's Bane: The one time he was killed, it was obvious from the start of the day, after receiving his objective and talking with the General-Simi'Kraz that they were likely walking to their doom. Despite this, they still barged in valiantly, and gave them hell for what it was worth. During this moment, several individuals whom had control over the elements blasted Krosun with an unending barrage of ice, and fire damage. As well as being stabbed through the chest with a twin set of blades, one with a blessed, holy aura to it. And the other nether, demonic. The innate Holy and Nether abilities of Krosun absorbed the blades endless aura, fueling his regeneration rate, ontop of implanting basic, if not somewhat petty control over these two elements. He cannot throw huge fireballs at will, and ice will break before he can make any useful shape out of its gathered mass. But damage from the two, unless on a larger scale, will not do much to damage him. Likewise, if damaged to the point where he passes out, or is drawn to near death, friends may expose him to low yields of all four elements(Fire, Cold, Holy, and Nether) and spur his innate rejuvenation trait.
