This article about a character is a stub -- a small, but growing, work in progress. If you're the creator of this character, why not consider expanding it?
Early Life
Not much is known about Krystal Knight's early life. He knows that he was abducted at a young age by an unknown corporation, but beyond that, his memories are dim at best.
What he does remember about his time then was that he spent most of his days as a test subject for various human experiments. He was kept in a cell for most of the time otherwise, in solitary confinement. Most of the experiments were failed attempts at generating powers within him.
After some undetermined amount of years, they finally had a successful attempt. The experiment metamorphosed his entire body into a type of crystal that was tougher than diamonds. Right after he realized what had happened, he took advantage of the situation and killed the scientists before they could restrain him, and proceeded to fight his way out of the facility.
When he emerged into the outside, he was met with the sight of a bustling city. He escaped further into the streets and seemed to lose his pursuers.
A Destined Meeting
Soon after escaping, he found that a younger prisoner had followed him out of the facility as he'd escaped. Neither of them remembered anything about their past, and the boy seemed to have taken a liking to Krystal. KK agreed to travel with him as a partner, and he soon found that the boy had a surprising amount of swordsmanship. He had also been the product of failed experiments, though not as many as Krystal, and he had the ability to control the ki within his body to a limited extent. He quickly began using this ability to shield himself from the sight of the average person as he followed KK around, whom he had begun to call 'master' as a gesture of respect.
The two soon became quite close, developing their own sense of fighting style together, and grew into a sort of brotherly relationship with each other. It was around this time that they took their own codenames, Krystal Knight and Speed Zypher.
The Rogue Isles
Before too long, KK noticed that more and more people were looking for the two of them throughout the city. He decided that they would have to leave, and soon.
He caught wind of a place called the Rogue Isles, said to be a haven for those who had no place elsewhere. He told Zeph about it and, before long, the two had found their way to the islands.
Shortly after arriving, the two were contacted by Arachnos, the organization who seemed to rule the chain of islands. Not wanting to become runaways in this city as well, they agreed to meet with them, and were soon contracted for work by the group.
Now, the two continue to work for Arachnos, though very loosely, as they have questioned on numerous occasions the morality of their assignments. However, they have recently decided on a mutual goal for the first time since escaping the lab. They plan to find out who exactly it was who had them captured as children, and why. They feel that this will finally give them closure for their dark past.
