Origins
Descended from a mixed bloodline, Lady Valentina displays both a light and dark side. The pointed ears hint at her elven ancestry, although little is known of her true origins and she is reluctant to discuss them.
Despite having a youthful appearance, she has lived for several centuries and no one knows exactly how old she really is.
Personality
She spends her time 'mortal-watching' when not actively engaged in fighting crime. Many have grown to fear her when her dark side takes over; her claws darken to reflect the shadows in her heart and no mercy shall be shown to her enemies.
Despite this dual nature, she is honourable to the extreme and never forgets those who help her.
Light and Dark
Throughout her life, Lady Valentina has been plagued by blackouts and gaps in her memory. Those who have been around her at such times describe her as having another personality altogether. It has been whispered that she acts without so much regard to morality; her conscience effectively silenced.
She has recently discovered the reason for her memory-loss, she has been possessed by a daemon. It is for this reason that she appears to be two different people.
The Bone Lotus
Sheathed in an articulated metal scabbard on her back, rests the Bone Lotus. This blade has a dark nature; while other blades might suck your soul from you in an instant, or drain your blood dry, this will rend flesh from bone at it's slightest touch.
Lady Valentina guards the blade for someone important to her; Zelmenia, her lover. The blade contains her soul and should it ever be broken, Zelmenia will die.
Zelmenia
Despite knowing her for only a short period of time, Zelmenia has become an important part of Lady Valentina's life. Both the daemon within her and Valentina herself, love Zelmenia greatly. They would give up their immortal lives to see that she is safe.
OOC Notes
Unless her two halves talk to each other within a construction in her mind, neither has knowledge of the other's actions.
Her magic / mental powers require concentration in order to function. Quite often a touch is required to communicate telepathically. Different powers will change the colour of her eyes according to their nature.
Valentina, the host (light colours) does not have the same magical strength as the daemon, Val (dark colours, wings).
The Bone Lotus is never actually used with this character, only claws. Unfortunately the character model does not include the Bone Lotus and therefore is only role-played as being included.
