Tentative Bio

Born in the alternate dimension of Praetoria, Lib grew up admiring Emperor Cole, so as she grew up she studied many different forms of fighting, but she found her calling in dual wielding blades, preferring swords. When her mutant abilities came about, she immediately ran off to join the PPD Powers Division.

Throughout her time in the Powers Division, she worked her way through the ranks, and even had earned the respect of Praetor White himself. So much so, that she was sent undercover for some time into the Resistance. Those fools following Calvin Scott, thinking they'll be able to overthrow Cole one day. But during her time among the Resistance, she learned of this alternate Dimension where her emperor was no emperor at all. He was still a hero, and one to be admired though.

She learned what she could, and became fascinated with this 'other Earth'. So when Provost Marchand told her it was time for her to leave Praetoria, and to go to this extra-dimension she felt throughly excited. As she was given the choice of portals to step through, she felt drawn to Paragon City, rather than the Rogue Isles, simply because of her devotion to Emperor Cole, and her curiosity about his counterpart Statesman.

History(Work in progress, this takes president over any contradictions from the bio)

Lib was born in Imperial City, and early on people knew she was going to be special. Her mother attributed her purple hair to some drugs her doctor gave her when she was pregnant, but everyone else figured that Lib was a mutant. But growing up in Praetoria that wasn't something to be ashamed of or kept hidden.

As she grew up, she knew she would one day join the Powers Division of the PPD, and looked forward to it. However, all her friends knew she'd be joining Powers Division too, and they would constantly hound her about it. When would it happen? Was she looking forward to it? Did she think Praetor White was hot? For a ten year old girl, it was a lot of attention that she hadn't yet earned. This in turn, made her pull back from her upcoming celebrity status in school, and kept herself quiet, and in the shadows.

But her friends and family weren't the only ones who noticed little Lib. Neuron, prior to his ascent to Praetor had his eye on Lib for a few years. When he noticed that she became less social, he decided to take advantage of that. He approached her parents and said that he wanted to run some harmless tests to find out if her mutant abilities could be ascertained (Or for her mother to find out if there was a way to find out if it was the drugs she took that caused Lib's hair color). They agreed, and Lib went with Neuron to his lab. What Lib remembers is having her blood drawn, and some endurance tests.

But there was much more than that. Neuron tortured her, pushing her limits to get her abilities to not only activate when he wanted them to, but to be what he wanted them to be. He manipulated her DNA, and implanted mental suggestions in her to make her seek out athletic sports that would aid her abilities. Through out the testing Lib was awake, and constantly heard the hums and cracks of electricity in the background, right up until the last few minutes when he shocked her, forcing her to forget all the unpleasantness.

After that day, while she still kept to herself, she became much more active. Running track and field, and even taking up fencing classes along with martial arts. When she'd turned sixteen, Neuron felt her time was right. He'd arranged for some information slip to the Resistance that Lib was very important to Emperor Cole. So sure enough, one night the Resistance came for her. As practiced as she'd become in fighting, she was no match for the half dozen soldiers they sent for her. Neuron followed them back to their base in the sewers under Imperial City via a tracking device he'd put into Lib all those years ago, and as soon as she was inside, he activated her powers by sending a surge through that tracker into her brain.

Without even realizing what she was doing, Lib went into a frenzy. Her powers giving her many abilities all at once, but the main one being a stealth that made her completely undetectable. The first two to die were the ones holding her by the arms. She'd kicked them both in the crotches, and after they let go, she found two pieces of sharp scrap metal and wielded them like swords. She stalked every breathing person in the Resistance base, partly from everything she heard about them growing up, partly due to the fact that she was just kidnapped, but mostly due to Neuron's conditioning. She had no qualms about taking life.

At the end of it, she left the base and ran for the nearest Precinct and told them everything. The next morning she went off to start training for Powers Division. She was lauded throughout training as she'd already taken out an entire resistance base singlehandedly, but she still had to earn her stripes. As the years passed, Lib worked her way up the ranks, and even had caught the eye of Praetor White enough to become one his Top Dogs. Which isn't a real rank, but it meant that he trusted you, and would call on you first when needed.

Eventually though, she had the opportunity to infiltrate the resistance, under another name of course. She was assigned to a crusaders group, and worked with them, planning bombing, and raids on hospitals, even buying drugs.. though it was mainly used by the resistance members she worked with. She saw just how bad the Resistance was. Finally she broke cover and turned in her cell, going back to fighting for the good guys. She only wishes she'd been able to get close enough to Calvin Scott to bring him in and put an end to the resistance once and for all.

Neuron was about to make his move, and collect Lib into his clutches after all his planning when Provost Marchand interfered. With the oncoming war, he decided to send her to Primal Earth, to show the residence of that dimension that not all Praetorians are evil, and that some are willing to make peace.

Addendum

Lib is the Praetorian version of the Primal Earth Libb... sort of. Both were to be born as twins, but in each birthing, one twin did not survive, so Lib, and Libb are more like sisters than they are counterparts.
