When her Kheldian speaks, it sounds like Kreia from KOTOR.

Biography
Born in King's Row in 1983, Jamie Denton was blessed with a smart father and a loving mother. However, her family life was far from perfect. Her father was a scientist, so bright infact, that he often felt disconnected from the rest of humanity. He had a rather good job with Crey, working in a lab, but his employment was terminated when he was involved in an accident, leading to him being scarred physically. Unable to hold down a job due to his grotesque appearance, her mother and he argued day and night, until one night, he just left.
Things were on and off for Jamie, her mother's numerous boyfriends as well as herself working hard to keep the roof over their heads. Jamie did her best in school, but she was far too distracted by the home situation, and her grades suffered. This eventually lead to her dropping out of high school, a year in.
She floated around, living off of her mother's hard work. She attended many parties, going from the pretty, innocent girl she was to a debauched, shallow party-girl. Of course, this couldn't go on for long. Her mother finally forced her to attend church with her one day. From that point forward, every sunday, Jamie was a common sight among the pews. Never truly devout, but a often looking to god for comfort.
Years passed, and Jamie worked various jobs, gaining a variety o skillsets. Despite her lack of education, she had a gift for organization, and she rather easily matured into a functioning adult. Of course, her church going had become somewhat of a thing of the past, though she still kept her faith strong in her heart. Then, as most bios arrive at this point, the Rikti came.
Jamie was affected in a big way by the Rikti invasion. Her mother was killed, her place of employ ransacked, and herself very much on the run. She managed to survive, but her faith was shaken by what she had seen. She wandered rather aimlessly, without a care, as people died around her. She would walk past horrors, people calling out for her help, as she would ignore it. Something had snapped within her mind, and she was broken.
Of course, life has ever more twists when you live in the City of Heroes. As she wandered, she saw a light in the sky. It raced towards her, growing ever bigger. Unsure of what to make of this light, it finally hit her. Light flashed, and then she saw nothing.
The Light of Eternum. An elder of the Kheldian race and very much a crusader in the fight against the Nictus had come to earth. With the coming of her dark kin to Earth, she had followed in her endless and near zealous pursuit of the scourge that is Nictus. So it was that she fell to the Earth, and came upon Jamie. Sensing her despair, The Light realized she could forge Jamie into a weapon in the fight against the Nictus. However, when Light entered Jamie's subconsious something happened. The Light was snuffed out for a brief time.
The day of this ocurrence, Jamie experienced a strange form of mindwipe. She lost none of her memories, but all the emotions she associated with them were gone. She no longer thought of her father with hatred, her mother's death with sadness. The only thing she had that she felt anything about was that strange white light, and what it had given her. She could heal the sick.
For the longest time, she thought this healing ability was a holy one, a gift from god. Her reverend told her as much, and those who she helped during the invasion felt the same way. She lived a hero's life, food and places to stay her payment for her powers. Of course, when the war ended, the need for a miracle worker seemed to fade.
So, Jamie became a bartender. Here is where the story begins.
Personality
A caring person, Jamie is generally one of the nicer people you could run into, unless your timing is simply horrible. She's honest to a fault, and in a way, doesn't really filter what she says. Some would say she's dimwitted because of this, though this is far from the truth.
Since joining the Vanguard however, Jamie seems to have learned a great deal more self control. She seems to even have a "business" face now, maintaining a friendly, but professional air when the time calls for it.
Background
Starting Out
Out of luck and a job, Jamie turned to the Pocket D. Essentially homeless, DJ Zero kindly let her work the Blue Bar. There she would meet many of her friends, as well as her yet-to-be boyfriend, Darren Astor.
One night she was tending when one Hector Black, A.K.A. Strifeling approached her. With an easy smile and a confident tone, he asked her what she thought of Darren, whom she had gone up to in a random "blonde moment" and complimented his jacket. When asked whether she thought he was attractive or not, she answered simply. "He's okay." However, when Hector asked her to have a drink with Darren, she was hardpressed to say no.
They immediately hit it off. Fast becoming friends, Jamie fervently hoped it would turn to more.
Trouble At Home
Not long after this, Jamie faced an interesting predicament. She had gotten a call while tending one day, and it turned out to be her father, Jason Denton. Estranged, and very much the cause of many of Jamie's childhood issues. However, when his voice first played on the phone, there was no rage. No anger. No hate. Simply, "Dad?"
