History
Lisa was born and raised in Steel Canyon, Paragon City. Her family were all mutants, her being no exception. The only difference between her and the rest of her family was that both of her parents (Michael Deing and Terra Deing) and her older brother (Valder Deing, known to the city as the hero "Fox") were humanoid-fox mutants while she was born with cat-like ears and a cat tail. Another difference between her and them is that she didn't discover her abilities until she was 17, where as her brother found his power of teleportation and ice at a much younger age.
She led a pretty normal life, attending school like any other girl her age excelling in electronics and mechanical classes. While she was not at school she would watch her brother's exploits on tv and watch him train with his signature black dyed katana. Every now and then he would let her try it out, letting her swing it at things like trees. She also liked to try and create things out of broken electronics. As she grew up she wanted to become a mechanical engineer, but fate had something else in store for her
One night while she was sleeping she awoke to the sound of broken glass. Getting out of her bed she looked around for the cause, finding a window to their living room broken and opened. She went to check to see if her parents heard the noise, finding both of them laying in their bed with the sheet completely covered with their blood and a deadly acid. Shocked, she quickly ran to her brothers room. When she got to the door she heard him scream out in pain and the laugh of another man. She cracked open the door and froze in place from fear as she saw that the man had pinned him to his bed with arrows and was pouring the same acid on his body. Lisa wanted to run in and try and help her brother, but was too afraid to. Valder died in his bed and the man laughed as if he was enjoying every minute of it. Both rage and fear filled Lisa, her body started to emit fire. The man noticed this, but jumped out of the window as the flames cought her home of fire. She escaped before her home fell to the flames.
Both of her parents and her brother were buried at the Steel Canyon Cemetary. Lisa went back to her destroyed home crying seeing the police tape around it. One of the officers walked over to her and gave here one of the few things they found in the rubble, her brothers katana. She took it in hand, and swore from that day forth that she would learn how to control the fire that came out from her body and keep learing how to use the sword in order to fight to protect Paragon City in her brother's place.
Notes
No matter what outfit she is in her katana is always at her side.
