Summary
Elizabeth "Lizzy" McFaye was born in London on December 17, 1865. She was somewhat of a tomboy, fascinated by how things worked. The exploits of Phileas Fogg truly marveled her, and she began to study mechanics and motion. As her studies progressed, she heard of a brilliant scientist in the US, so she bid her family farewell, and moved. In 1886 she began to be trained by Professor Emmet Brown, and excelled rapidly. One day, she found some old notes in the lab. Much of the writing was blurred, but she could make out "flux" and "time". She secretly replicated the plans, and began work. Her assistant, Duncan Campbell helped her acquire what she needed, and before long, she had done it. Though what she had done, she still wasn't sure, since the plans didn't say. But she had to find out. During a storm, they climbed in the machine, let it roll down the steep mountainside, and lightning struck...
