History

The 12th Century

Day 1, Jerusalem

That day was said to be the most feared day of all time, according to Professor Daniel Flick from MAGI. With the union of both the Child of Woe and Teblah, came today's newest and extremely powerful villain - The Lord of Ruins. The dark forces of the Netherworld decided it was time to rule the Earth and cast it to darkness, and would do so easily with the employ of the new Unholy King. It was that day that the evil Lord of Ruins blazed a large portion of Jerusalem by use of black magic, fire, and enslaving elements of Earth to do his bidding, and in result: ending many lives. Soon, neighboring cities and even remote countries took notice of this. It was a dark and terrible year for all man-kind, they were sure to be cast into the fiery pit of Hell.

The 14th Century

By now, it was the Gods' turn to react, and so sprouted selected few, with powers just as the Unholy King. They were not fire and brimstone just as the the Lord of Ruins commanded, but they were indeed powerful. For many years the evil lord was faced with confident individuals, and every time he became weaker. At some times in the King's unholy crusade, he would even lose the will to live. But it was his fury, his ultimate Power of The Phoenix that kept him alive and able. Heroes spent centuries trying to find a way to defeat this epic power, but none succeeded. Until once upon a time, they did...

The 16th Century

At this time, it seemed the heroes may actually win, for the Lord of Ruins had grown far too weak to battle even an army. And the Unholy King was under the impression that he would simply return to life and regain all of his ultimate powers. He was wrong. The heroes planned to push him through a portal to an alternate dimension, while simultaneously using all their powers to cut him off from the Fury Phoenix which granted the Lord of Ruins his immense power, at least for a while. The Unholy King was incredibly resistant, but was unable to counter the attacks, the heroes' plan was working! It was only until a Necromancer by the name of Lucien stepped in, did the heroes finally get the monster midway through their portal. By calling upon the Netherworld's own dark magics, the mysterious wizard locked the creature in ghastly tentacles, and in a luminous beam of light, the Lord of Ruins was shoved backwards through the portal. The Fury Phoenix was removed and destroyed as well, the Unholy "king" now floated through time and space, a mindless piece of scorched flesh, and blackened blood.

Present

Centuries later. The 21st century to be exact, the evil clan that chose to create the Lord of Ruins was now gone, wiped away from the universe. However, the Fury Phoenix yet lives. How, we do not know. But in this plane of existence the roaming Phoenix wandered and stumbled upon the contemplating form of no other than the Lord of Ruins himself. There was no ceremony, no ruling command that ordered for this bonding to begin. It was a silent reunion between body and soul. Lord Of Ruins and the Fury Phoenix combined. Together, the Unholy King was remade - and back with a fiery thirst for vengeance. Now that the powers returned to the immortal Lord, he raced across Existence, heading for the one place he sensed had the largest quantity of people - Earth.

Personality

The Lord of Ruins is an arrogant and silent brute. He belittles those who are shorter than him or are of Natural Origin, or the human race. And should anyone so confident get in his way, he will simply push them aside and continue on his path, or if he wants to humor that the person he will grant them a battle in the local arena. He speaks in deep, semi-monotonous voices with a British accent.

Abilities

Charge - His opening move when closing into combat with his target.

Unholy Hammer - He conjures up his usual Heavy Stone Mallet, and brings it down smashing his oponent. Usually, this move will kill his target instantly, if not, he will hit them again with a light hammer, finishing his target off once and for all.

Fiery Shields - Most of the time, the Lord of Ruins prefers the most offensive defense, conjuring flames all around him to deal another massive blow of damage to all surrounding targets.
