Biography
At the age of 12, Jason Roberts stopped getting taller. His parents were concerned that he may have progeria and took him to the Paragon City hospital to have him checked out. They learned instead that he was a mutant. That news was almost as bad, as far as they were concerned. But out of their love for their son, they kept him, telling people he had dwarfism instead.
As he matured, he developed thick muscle mass instead of height. He was incredibly strong and agile, and eventually matured into the man he is today. Because of his physicality, he wasn't suited to much work save construction, so he did that for a while. But ultimately, he felt his true calling was to protect those who didn't have the ability to protect themselves, so he assumed his new identity, calling himeslf MANT, a combination of the words "man" and "ant", due to his small size and incredible strength.
Personality
Despite his small size, MANT is a big presence. He is always in high spirits and quick with a joke or a quip. He's usually one of the first into a fray, and is just as much the cheerleader as he is the quarterback, diving in with flying fists and witty jabs. This is most likely due to the fact that he's had to make light of his condition for so long.
He has an almost insatiable sweet tooth, which, though mere coincidence, only seems to add to his ant gimmick. He can often be seen idly on a donut or candy when he's not occupied with his duties as a costumed hero. It is possible, however, that the sugar intake may be an aid in recovery from the energy expended by his mutant metabolism.

MANT has super strength proportional to an ant, able to lift fifty times his own weight with ease, or heavier weights if assisted. He is also incredibly fast and agile, most likely due to his smaller stature.
Additionally, he has an incredible force of will, enabling him to shrug off heavy blows that would stun most individuals and making him a formidable opponent, even against groups of three or four opponents.
Weaknesses and Limitations
His small stature makes it difficult for him to get to higher areas without the aid of a jump pack. It also makes him especially weak to airborne and gigantic enemies. He also has no special mental blocks, so even his willpower will eventually give out against psionic atacks.
Affiliations
MANT is currently a member of The Sentinels, an anti-Arachnos supergroup.
