Mag Flashlight is the codename for a researcher who escaped from Crey's R&D labs during the development of the Crey Cryo Tank. For the next several years, Mag Flashlight was the scourge of the Crey forces, culminating in his failed attempt at taking out Countess Crey herself. Sobered by his blatant failure, Mag put away the suit for several years, until one day, Mrs. Mag informed him that he was going to go crazy, and even without his vendetta against Crey - he missed the exhilaration and joy of bringing Justice to Paragon City.

Several months later, Mag Flashlight was back on the street, proving to all comers that the Crey Cryo Tank was a great idea - too bad they couldn't compare to the real thing!

Supergroup: The Legendary (Rank: Rumor, Ablative Meat)

Personality

Mag Flashlight (Or Mag Prime) is almost gloriously happy. Working for The Legendary, Mag has found a group of people as addicted to the rush and flow of a good fight as he is, and as conscious of Justice, too. While he is in the field, Mag is a fairly closed-in sort, and while most of his teammates are aware that there is a Mrs. Mag, he never talks of her, protecting his secret identity.

Powers

The prototype Crey Cyro Tank suit is completely unrecognizable when compared to the production model. Bulging, massive limbs, no physical head protection, and a blue and white 'racing stripe' paint scheme render it something completely different, and the performance lives up to the perception! Mag's armor is incredibly durable, and coupled with a whole suite of ice-based effects, carefully calibrated to increase survivability.

Additional Powers

Mag has recieved the Ouroboros Portal, but considers it just a 'handy thing', not terribly impressed at being able to move outside the bounds of Space and Time

Superjump

Travel powers are not included in either the prototype or the production model Crey Cyro Tank, but the prototype, at least, has the strength necessary to emulate the 'Superjump' travel power, and to good effect. Mag has personally added an 'Inconsequential' module, allowing him to be somewhat stealthy when traveling - use of this module removes some of his normal defensive boosts, however.

Abilities

Mag glories in the surge and chaos of pitched combat, and has yet to meet an enemy that truly intimidates him. Lord Nemesis himself has fallen facing Mag, and while he's understandably arrogant about this, Mag is the first to remind people that it was a Team that took out Nemesis, not just one man in a powered suit.

Weaknesses and Limitations

The Prototype is strong. Immensely so, especially compared to the production Cyro Tank. But it's not invulnerable. The nature of the armor allows Mag to confidently face immense numbers of foes, but then immense +1 puts him nearly immediately into the dirt.

This limit can be surpassed by the support and presence of other team members, however, and it routinely is! Mag also prefers to work with an additional tank, such as Wide Receiver, or the Emo Tank, Terrence Knight

Equipment

What, a stolen prototype suit of Crey powered armor isn't enough?

Clone Army

Recently, Mag heard rumor of another Mag, operating as a villian in the Rogue Isles! Mag went civilian, and as Mr. Mag, snuck into the Isles, and finally was able to witness the unrestrained wrath of the brute Mag Taser! Unable to establish contact with the armored fury, Mr. Mag was able to drop a message with the brute and coordinate a meet in the Pocket D dance club.

That meeting didn't work out terribly well, given the diametrically opposed nature of the two Mags involved. But it appears to have opened a strange statistical vortex, and now there are several 'known' Mags, both in Paragon and the Rogue Isles.

Mag Flashlight currently has no comment on this situation, and looks quite bewildered when confronted about it.
