Energy Attacks

One of the things that Matt found after joining with his Kheldian was that he could now use his natural Kheldian energy in his attacks. The Guardian was now able to fire off blasts of energy, as well as putting energy behind his punches or kicks. Some of his signature energy attacks are:

Incandescent Strike:

Matt's Incandescent Strike is an absolutely devastating melee attack that focuses all of his Kheldian energy and strength into a single massive blow. This slow but incredibly devastating attack can knock out most opponents. This attack has taken down a fair share of the foes that Matt has faced.

Photon Seekers:

The Guardian is able to manifest three spheres of light energy drones from his very Kheldian essence. These drones follow Matt around until they detect an enemy target. The Photon Seekers then zero in on their targets and detonate on impact. Matt uses this attack often when facing multiple opponents at once.

Dawn Strike:

Matt only uses this attack if surrounded by a large number of enemies or if he is facing a particularly tough foe. It deals a tremendous amount of damage; probaly his most powerful energy attack. He only uses it as an absolute last resort, as it pretty much drains him of his remaining energy after using it.

Transformations

The Bright Nova

The White Dwarf

Due to Matt's bond with Epyon, he found he now had the ability to transfom into two different energy beasts. The first transformation the Guardian acquired was the ability to transform into what is known as a "Bright Nova." The Bright Novas are from the upper reches of a gas giant, and are called Mefnanim. In this form, the Nova looks akin to a flying squid. The second transformation he could utilize was a form known as a "White Dwarf." The White Dwarf form's "base" race are called the Kurukt, and lived on the surface of neutron stars. Also known as the "lobster," the White Dwarf is a very tough and durable form. The Guardian is able to instantly transform into these two forms at will, giving him the advantage in certain situations. Another transformation that Matt can utilize, is a transformation into a form known as the "Light Form." In this form, Matt turns into a ball of pure Kheldian energy. When in this form, the Guardian is extremely resistant to most attacks. Though just like with his Dawn Strike attack, Matt is completely drained when he reverts back to his human form. He only uses the "Light Form" in the most dire of circumstances.

Flight

After Matt bonded with Epyon, the Guardian learned that he could now fly under his own power. Nothing is more peaceful for Matt than flying around the city of Paragon, seeing its many sights. He is able to fly extremely fast, able to go many miles per hour. Matt also found that if he put more energy into his flying, he could seemingly disappear while in flight. He has used this new ability to escape many dangerous situations.

Regeneration

Another by product of his Kheldian bond, Matt can now almost instantly heal any wound he gets. He can also transfer some of his own energy into others to heal them from their own injuries. Matt is also resistant to all known Earth diseases. Due to his regenerative abilities, Matt can also train for hours on end without the need to rest for more than a couple of minutes.
