Melania's story is something most consider a bit far-fetched. Nobody, not even people whom she holds close, knows her true story. Most of them(it's been discovered that she's given out any number of background stories) are reality bending, and completely unbelievable; more so than some of the Isles and the city's meta human inhabitants(and some of them are pretty ridiculous). The outlandish stories Melania tells and the inconsistency between them raises much speculation as to how she obtained such vast amount of power, as most would simply disregard such a lunatic if one weren't as dangerous as her.
