Armor
While she doesn't have armor in the traditional sense her mastery of energy has made her tougher than the average human, by generating a mild energy field that deflects or absorbs damage she receives. though she can get hurt or nearly killed if she draws too much "attention" from villains.
Weapons
Chi only carries a set of throwing stars that were given to her by her martial arts master in Japan. She rarely uses them anymore for the fact that her energy blasts do far more damage than those little daggers, only carrying them to remember her master that was killed in the Rikti war.
Flight
At first her mastery of energy had no effect on her mobility. Then after fighting in Paragon she began to notice she could jump higher than she used to. Then she could hover in place for a period of time. After a few months of practice she could fly for a few miles before being exhausted. Now she is able to fly for extreme distances while expending little or no energy and a great speed. This has become her main method of transportation. She has become so adept at flying that she often hovers in battle to make herself harder to hit and to spot others easier, be they teammates, innocents, or criminals.
Character History
During the late 90's the young Anya Veris traveled to Japan to train in martial arts. While focusing her chi to center herself a light blue aura surrounded her, immediately her master recognized that she could control her inner energy at an astounding level. she began to practice forming and trowing bolts of energy. Her master compelled her not to use her power in aggression, after a few years she began to use this power to stop crimes occurring in the cities around her dojo.
Then the Rikti attacked the world, Anya, known as the Mistress in Tokyo, Helped defend that city and was one of the few to survive the war in that area. After helping rebuild Tokyo after the war, she returned to her home of Paragon city. The plane she was returning home on passed over Baumton, her home town, she saw the area was decimated with only a few sky scrapers still standing. most of those were leaning severely. When the plane landed she immediately tried to contact her family. The only survivor was her 15 year old sister, who chi has begun training to fight crime and is becoming a great hero in her own right.
After getting an apartment in Atlas park, she began to help Fight crime in Paragon, taking the name Mistress Chi.
