Origin
Zoreth Prime
Most Kheldian Peacebringers live approximately ten years. However centuries ago when the Nictus War started, Zoreth and Lucienta (Voidshriek) were given a mandate by the Peacebringer Army to study the arts of magic in all their known forms to catalog and protect their people. Empowered by a item known in texts merely as the Eye of the Sygnus, his light became eternal as did his charge. Thus was Zoreth Prime, Historian and Magus of the Infinita Order born.
This immortality did not sit well with Zoreth's younger sister. Angered that Zoreth would live while she possessed only a short span of years, a envy grew within her and as her life approached its end, that envy blossomed into hatred. Seeking out several Nicti she willingly allowed herself to be converted from a Kheldian to a Nictus ensuring that she would live as long as the so called "Eternal Prime".
Lucienta, now calling herself Entropia became a common thorn for the ancient Kheldians soon earning the title of "Mistress of Death". It is unknown to this day how many Peacebringers she slew in the wars. Remorseful at the course his sister had taken, Zoreth began to hunt for her, hoping against hope to somehow bring her back to her senses. Entropia would have none of it. She and Zoreth clashed for centuries across the Galaxy for control of the Eye of the Sygnus, until after one fateful battle, the planet which housed the blade was destroyed sending the relic into the depths of space. Following the Eye for some time, his travels eventually led him to a unknown world known as Earth.
Duncan Garrick
Before his mergance with the Kheldian energy being known as Zoreth, Duncan was a fun loving and free spirited Quality Assurance tester for a major metropolitan game maker. When the Rikti War broke out, Duncan enlisted in the Paragon Guard to assist the heroes of the City in pushing back the Rikti. Encountering Zoreth, a Kheldian who had come in search of something called "The Eye of the Sygnus". The two struck up a friendship and worked together on several missions. After the War ended and a call went out for heroes, Zoreth offered the human a chance to merge with him to create a powerful Peacebringer. Trusting Zoreth, he agreed and the two fused into the superhero who would eventually come to be called Moonflash.
Gaining Zoreth's memories, Duncan became aware of the Peacebringers mission and when Sunstorm arrived on earth, Moonflash was among the first to join him. Balancing his duties as a hero with life as a civilian is a daunting task, but for Moonflash he wouldnt have it any other way.
Personality
Moonflash goes MIA
Moonflash Prime spent three years in Paragon striving to fulfill his role both as the Prime of the Infinita Order, and also as a hero. Unfortunately shortly after this event, the fears that had long kept him single returned to haunt in the form of Deathfog. Abandoning the Pact as he did not wish to see others injured, he traveled to the Shadow Shard after mumbling something in the D to Tiny about the Vanguard.
Eyewitnesses report that he was seen locked in combat with Deathfog over Blood Falls, and the Portal Corporation has recently made a confirmation of the villain's demise, as metallic fragments from the Kheldian Android's body, empty and lifeless, were found scattered around the area known as sector 29-B, The Chantry.
To this day however the fate of Prime still remains open for contention.
Is he dead..? Or is he somewhere alive serving a purpose for the Order and the Vanguard?
Final Update, Star Date 6-13-09:
The only reason I post this short blurb is as a short vindication and conclusion to a page of my life.
Regrettably friends, I wont be returning to City of Heroes, at least not on my original account. It is likely compromised as was my old PC, and so as a result I seriously doubt I will bother to reinstall CoX or reactivate a account that probably is deleted of all characters.
I enjoyed the game and consider many players on it my friends, but due to some unforeseen drama which was caused primarily by my now ex girlfriend Luficia I have lost all the drive I once had to play. This is also hampered by the fact that the person I trusted most betrayed me in the end with a campaign of misery, and spin-doctoring the likes of which prior I had only seen from Fox News.
Tiny, Silver, Oak, Unit, Ace the Defendant, all others- You all rock. Thanks for all the great memories and stay Steadfast guys.
Finally a endearing goodbye to Alevan/Sygnaman/Mobius et al: I pity your "foster son" and I pity myself for not seeing you sooner for the self centered, delusional dramaqueen you were.
