This hero is a member of The Zenvious Foundation. Sebs, Sebastion, Sebby, Heavy Metal Defender? It doesn't matter what you call the man who blasts his foes and friends alike with just 5 words "Are you ready to rock?!?!" A battlecry feared by some and vital to others.
OOC explanations and Character Origin
Mr. Sebastion is loosely based on Skid Row front man Sebastian Bach.
The concept is as follows ...
During a ravaging late night party with friends and strangers filling his hotel room Sebastian Bach overdoses on Heroin and the room full of people reacted in the worst way by dumping all of their own illegal party favors on him and leaving the room, door open wide and empty save for a pile of assorted drugs scattered around an apparently dead blonde guy. (Mr. Sebastion) Fates being fickle creatures this night they swung in the favor of the aging rocker. The noise of the party they had been having had spawned a police call and the quickly responding officer also happened to be a part time Paramedic and kept a "late night special" kit for the overdoses common in the seedier areas. The savior cop pumped the adrenaline shot and got the lithe singer singer packed into an ambulance and sent off to the closest hospital.
Now one twist of the cosmic hand in your own favor is enough for some but this was not the case this day.
As the writhing body still freshly wreaking of death got carried out of the ambulance a man named Darin Goren was walking by at that exact same time. Now the ambulance driver and the following cop with a rather large evidence bag of drugs were not bad men. They were both fully competent in their jobs and not at all suffering loss of IQ but the two men were just regular guys in the end and as it turned out Darin Goren was really Dr. Goren which today meant Dr. Darin Goren was in lab coat and all. Dr Goren took the trauma case as if he was the Doc on E.R. call, in fact Dr. Goren was only there that night to pick up some supplies for his own labs but that only fueled the wicked timing in the end. Taking in the very complex situation, near dead rock star who if saved would be charged with several drug felonies and likely sentenced to the rest of his life away and the odd fact that Dr. Goren at that time considered himself the largest Skid Row fan on Earth and thusly knew of Sebastion's uniquely talented and unnaturally strong voice. In that one moment Dr. G formed a plan that involved his own studies and this almost soon to be convict.
He arranged a very special deal with a federal judge that just happened to be the third in an unlikely trio of smiles left by fate. The Judge was an old girlfriend of Darin's and worked out a deal that was only barely legal.
Sebastion was pronounced D O A on the public records and signed into the care of another dear friend of Dr. Goren's, the head of the Zenvious Foundation. Dr. G would use some of the breaking research in Nanobots he was doing and insert them into Sebastion. This meant a whole conditioning unit would need to be applied and the first thing Dr. Goren thought of was a limb replacement. It was just enough space and with the good condition of the muscles, the metal coverings would be supported well.
When he finally awoke he was told quite simply. Sebastian Bach was dead to the world and the only way to avoid spending every last waking day in Prison and forfeit the life saving technology used by the Foundation would be to renounce himself of all renown,fame, and dedicate his life as an agent in service for the Country. Sebastion at first cursed and attempted to fight. That proved unsuccessful quickly and he saw this to be a deal he just couldn't say no to. After a moment and some calming down Dr. Goren tried to joke with the new reluctant ally and patient asking him what his Hero name would be.At the precise moment a shadowy figure that would grow to be his closest ally, said from the darkness " Good evening Mr. Sebastion"
Sebastion laughed at the man in the dark and at everything that had just happened. He could afterall appreciate when things were out of his control and he said to the Dr. as chuckling "Dude, I'm Mr. Sebastion, didn't you hear the man"
The room went silent and then erupted into laughter.
This was the birth of Mr. Sebastion and the beginnings of a relationship that would define his role in Paragon City.
