Origin
Myythos was born to an alternate reality where superhumans were either Vanguard sponsored...or dog food. Born to a homeless woman, he was discarded at birth due to his "deformities"; in reality he was an early genetically responsive mutant. Born of immense size and sporting body hair, he looked similar to a wild animal. Found by a Vanguard team, they attempted to educate him as a trained hunter of mutants...his training failed. At the age of 11 he killed an entire company of Vanguard agents and disappeared into the alleys of Kings Row. Tracked down eventually by "The Brawler"(our realities Back Street Brawler), at the age of 14, he was placed with the Zig. As a child, his time was exceedingly brutal within those walls, but his mutant ability eventually placed him on top of the food chain. During a bloody and vicious prison riot that went unstopped for a week, Myythos killed and devoured over fourteen fellow prisoners that stood within his way of leadership within those walls. Eventually, Vanguard gave up the prison and sealed it off with the same tech that divides the city neighborhoods. Locked essentially within a box, Myythos and his fellow prisoners figured their time had come and they would starve to death...when Myythos met Marcos.
Marcos was over sixty years old and offered the surviving prisoners an answer; repent. Myythos listened to the words of the Muslim preacher who had no powers, no way of defense and an unwillingness to back down...and came to an epiphany. Renouncing his ways, he and his followers turned a new page and realized that without each other they would die within the walls. Working together, the prisoners utilized their powers, ideas and experiences to fashion crude hydroponics and grow food. Devising a light based power system, they harnessed their powers to fuel their systems. For five years they lived peacefully within the walls, a commune of sorts. Five years later Vanguard tore through the complex, shattering the idyllic peace the criminals had created. Slaughtered in vast numbers, Myythos escaped and planned his revenge only to come across the mutant terrorist/freedom fighter Xtraction who offered him revenge...
The day the portal technology was to be activated in his reality, a suicide team along with the remnants of the surviving Arachnos forces attacked the facility with the intent to destroy the tech and the last of the government sponsored heroes. Myythos battled the Brawler, killing him and was caught in the explosion that tossed him through to this reality. Xtraction later located him wandering the streets of Paragon and offered him a place in Next Gen.
And Now...
Myythos was recently killed in Founders Falls by an unknown assailant.
