The Testarossa Family, once one of Paragon City's most feared families, by heroes, and other families themselves, known for three things, it's unusually small size, never exceeding more than 150 members, with it's inner circle being able to take down armies of other families by themselves without blinking; The abnormal makeup of it's members, the heads would take in anyone they liked, regardless of their rank or job, the original makeup had a priest, a old west gunslinger, a japanese swordsman, and even a king in it's ranks; Lastly, it's abnormal treatment of the citizens, they rarely, if ever, taxed the citizens, rather simply struck at the other families, and made their living "cleaning up the trash" and taking their share, before returning the rest. The original heads were known for their blades, each held one, one as dark as night, with an edge that could split anything, the other a pure white blade, capable of cleaving anything, rumors say they were given to them by the gods of the sun and moon themselves, and only those of true lineage could wield them; On the battlefield they resonated, creating bursts of flame with each swing, blowing apart man and machine alike.

Twelve years ago, the families outsourced, and called in a large force from the rogue isles, along with their normal numbers, pulling in over fifty thousand members, and raided the Testarossa headquarters, slaying every member present, Ryougi Shiki was sent in, but arrived only to clean up the remnants, every last member had been slain, every member, except the young Heir, Remilia, who was lying under the corpses of the two heads with a cross shaped wound on her stomach, whatever had killed the heads, had been powerful enough to go through them and still wound the girl they were protecting, though they had not failed, and she still lived.

Upon seeing Ryougi's Katana, she believed her to be the one who killed her father, and took the blade her father was still grasping and attacked her, Ryougi surprised, avoided and knocked her out, carrying her to city hall; We wished to have her taken somewhere where she wouldn't have a chance to trouble the city, but Ryougi wouldn't allow it, claiming she saw a talent within her, and immediately moved to have the city place her in her care; She followed Ryougi for days, attacking her at every chance she had, and Ryougi would dodge and return the strike, subtly training her, giving her advice on how to better step in, put her weight into her strikes, and overall fight.

A year later, she followed Ryougi into a family warehouse, upon entering, all she saw was a sea of red, nothing had been spared, realizing that anyone who would so cold bloodedly kill those who attacked her couldn't have been the one to kill her family, approached her, Ryougi intending to do so in the first place, agreed, giving her the name Naoto 「直刀」(("Fixing/Repairing" and "Blade")), took her in as a foster child.

Training

Not much is known about her training,Most of her youth was spent sparing with Ryougi, or a young mage who was often seen around Ryougi by the name of Kokuto Azaka, she would also often venture into alternate dimensions, often assisting Ryougi in fighting, learning through the trials of combat themselves -- it is recorded she ventured into a two sword style in a fight with tsoo in a dimension where they had taken over, rather than dodging the blows all together, she grabbed a pipe altogether and used it to parry blows, staying in close, trading blow for blow with the tsoo, Ryougi, impressed with her courage standing toe to toe with her foes, and the fact that she was clearly developing a different style than her, had Azaka enchant an imperium dagger, and gave it to her as a present, telling her to walk her own path, rather than following a road laid by someone else

Present

On her sixteenth birthday, Ryougi, satisfied with her growth, allowed her to register with the city as a hero, telling her to go develop her skills on her own, there was little left to teach her. Naoto set out not only to perfect her skill and gain vengence on those who struck her family, but to rebuild the family. Setting out with the skill limit imposed by the city, she has made many connections, and gained a large circle of allies, and begun rebuilding the family.

Recently, upon achieving security level 20, she was given a prototype exosuit by a scientist she saved from some lost when she had just started out, it amplified the power from her strikes several times over, allowing her to not only move quicker, but fight longer without exhausting, by using lighter strikes to achieve the same effect.

Most recently, while raiding a family warehouse, she found an odd longsword with the family insignia on an underboss, seems they took it in order to use it themselves during the raid, but unable to do so, just passed it down the line, upon picking it up, burst into flames, the power dwelling in her body burst forth from her, igniting the air around her, attempting to tear her body apart from the inside out, wrapping the blade in some sealing cloth, she took the blade to MAGI, who, divining upon the blade, found it was an a very powerful enchanted weapon, blessed by the goddess of victory with the power of the sun; As her blade was also enchanted, with the power of the moon, they were never meant to be wielded by one person, and the resonance creating a circuit would tear any normal person to shreds within minutes. Asking MAGI if there was anything they could do to allow her to hold it, they retrofitted one of the power amplification suits tested by Kokuto Azaka to absorb a portion of the off flow of energy, allowing her to hold it without being ripped apart, but still igniting the air around her, and putting her in immense pain. However, she opted to allow this, pain is common on the battlefield anyhow, and that level of power would allow her to finally gain the ability to cut down any foe, no matter how strong.

Donning the suit, with both blades, she has an immense amount of energy making her rarely ever tire, regardless of how hard or long she fights, her blades cut through even the strongest of metals like paper, and with immense speed. The pain from wielding them seems to have made it so wounds on the battlefield have a lesser effect, she's often been seen standing back up from blows that would have slain any ordinary hero.
