Biography
Albert Raimi is a former director of special effects from an esteemed company, who often travelled from job to job to interact with his subordinates. During one such trip, night shift security accidentally locked him in an old storage facility, where he found a pair of gauntlets. In putting on the armaments, he found that his strength immediately increased to a superhuman level!
A further study of the gauntlets determined that their origin was technologically advanced to the point of mild sentience, and even stored a shield within a tesseract device. The gauntlets had also attuned to Albert to the point where only he could call upon their power, as if he was "chosen" to use them.
The Northern Watch
Shortly after the discovery, Albert was approached by the Canadian government, who assigned him to the international branch of the Northern Watch in Paragon City. He arrived to find the offices barren: his new superiors were nowhere to be found. Registering through City Hall under the name "National Capital", he seeks to re-establish the Nortern Watch's presence in the city with the help of his ally, Canadian Guardsman.
Powers, Abilities, and Equipment
Albert's abilities as the National Capital are completely derived from his equipment. His primary source of power comes from his gauntlets, which are of a seemingly futuristic origin and grant him with superhuman strength and endurance while worn. In addition, the left hand gauntlet is equipped with a "tesseracting device" which houses a highly durable shield of unknown composition and origin. He is able to fly with the use of rocket boots. Albert has some knowledge of physical combat, but is greatest strength is his leadership skills.
