The Many Roles of Nebel Sirene
Feeling constant pressure to conform to certain expectations, Nebel is known among her friends as a flake, or drastically inable to make decisive reactions without peer approval. She is a husk, holding very few values sacred. Like a chameleon, she blends in with those around her, and takes on personality traits as the situation dictates, leaving her own personality scattered. When different aspects of her life clash, she struggles to function with the same confidence she can inhabit while presenting a unified persona.
Her personality can be described in distinct social roles. She is scatter-brained, but not crazy or psychotic by any medical defination. She simply molds herself as situations dictate, and struggles in her search for a self.
The 5th Column Assassin
Assertive, confident, and malicious, Nebel's life as a 5th Column assassin since her induction with the 5th Column at age 16 has hardened her to a life of constant violence, obedience, and hatred. The vilest, most despicable acts of torture, destruction, and murder have all paraded before her eyes and glorified. She is wary of other's feelings, especially acts of pure individuality, which she has been conditioned to suppress and deplore as unwanted behaviors among a militaristic social bulwark. The inherent secretiveness of her position as an assassin, and in her earlier years, an infiltrator of Paragon City and Freedom Corps, have made her mind sharp, always willing to lie to recieve the best answer, always looking out for dangerous situations, and always keeping her personal life in check. She is cautious to respond to questions about her home life, although even that is filled with drills and studious work. Nebel spends her time as an industrious worker, if not preparing for missions, she volunteers her time in other capacities for the Column, and continues to do so even as the Column has fallen into a bare shell of its former glory.
In her mask, as a personification of the 5th Column, Nebel Sirene is a dangerous opponent that bears all the evils of a hated group in pride. She is quick-witted, efficient, but contemptible and possessing none of the warmth or aloof ditzyness she exemplifies to her friends, or enemies.
