Discovered as a young child in a destroyed Hellions safehouse during the early days of the Rikti war, Nephili has never known much about her heritage. The Magi agents who first examined her confirmed that the girl is some variety of imp, though tall for her species, but the details of how and why she came to be on earth in the care of random criminals were lost with the lives of said criminals. And in any case, with the war still raging, there were more important questions to focus on at the time. Of course, by the time the war finally ended, Nephili had been all but forgotten, shuffled from one foster home to another. Despite her demonic nature, being raised in Paragon City did lead the girl to, like many children, idolize the many heroes who protected it, and as her own powers manifested, she began trying to do her part to help keep the streets of Kings Row safe... though between that and being a freshman at the University in Steel Canyon, it's getting hard to find any free time...
