Once a lowly Wolf Spider, the Metahuman Soldier for Hire known as Operative Gemini is now a freelance soldier for anyone who can afford him while maintaining several contracts with several of Arachnos' Elite.

History
Once upon an Issue, Operative Gemini was just a lowly Wolf Spider. Early on in his training he suffered several debilitating and deforming injuries that left him blind and deaf. Signing up for an Arachnos experiment, Gemini recieved experimental Ocular Implants and Audio Receptors to replace his lost eyes and ears. While his hearing returned to normal levels, his vision remains imperfect. Despite this, Gemini performed amicably in his duties as a Wolf Spider, reaching the rank of Huntsman eventually joining the ranks of the Crab Spiders.
Assigned to a backwater base with few qualified recruits, Gemini was fought over between the Crab Spider Corps and the Bane Spider Corps over where his training would lead him. Sometime after completeting his Crab Spider training, Gemini left Arachnos proper and became one of Lord Recluse's 'Destined Ones'. His stolen Crab Spider Backback grants him access to a diverse array of weaponry from machine guns to grenade launchers, as well as the 12 inch blade on each spider arm. In addition, Gemini has access to a small army of robot Spiders including a squadron of 3 Spiderlings and a pair of Disruptors. Recently coming under the employ of Scirocco and Captain Mako, Gemini can alternate between his latent Mu abilities and the powers he derives from the Leviathan, including a Mu Mystic and Coral Guardian.
Early on, Gemini discovered his Ocular Implants are hardwired to the Arachnos Metahuman Threat Identification Directory in Grandville, and upon making visual contact with a subject, Gemini can instantly download any and all files available for that subject. This in turn has led to the misconception by many that he is a Telepath when he is simply reading from a detailed file created by an Arachnos analyst. Gemini finds it to be extremely annoying; just one glance at someone and he downloads their life story as told by Arachnos.
While he enjoys the lucrative pay from working for the higher ups in Arachnos, Gemini can't help how creepy most of Arachnos is; undead ghosts, mutant man-fish hybrids, giant robots more machine than human, robot spiders that can read minds...the list goes on. Gemini never fails to mention how creepy he finds a person.
