Overview
The local populace of Paragon City know him as the reclusive private-eye who caters only to suspicious and untimely deaths. Clients request his help investigating because although the police rule out foul play in these incidents, there is always the same nagging feeling... like something unseen was the culprit.
Peter Chess, Occult Detective, can see that feeling, and brings it upon himself to solve these unusual mysteries. Vampires, Demons, you name it: magical creatures are his specialty. With a combination of dirty tricks, magic and great luck, Chess always gets his man; no matter the cost.
Early Life
Peter Chess is not his birthname. The Detective has changed his names several times, through different dimensions and time periods. However, he has confirmed recently that Peter is his real first name, although he has said in the past his real name is Lucas or Dante. Little is known of his early years, because he has given numerous, different reports to friends and enemies alike.
