History
Dr. Jonas Thraxis jr. is one of paragon cities most respected educators and inventors, he worked for NASA on the shuttle simulator, he was a technology advisor to the Clinton Administration, He currently is chair of the computer science department at Paragon city University and has carved out a reputation as an expert in artificial intelligence and holographic technology,he now adventures in Paragon City using hard light holographic and force field technology as a means to fight crime. He looks at the world with a sense of wonder and believes that technology can help humanity reach new heights, while many consider this to be a naive view he takes great pains to make his technologies non lethal and helpful.
Abilities and Skills
Thraxis possesses a genius level intellect and a knack for dealing with electronics and complicated systems. He has PhD's in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He keeps up with other fields via trade journals and published works, but Artificial Intelligence and Holographic Systems are where his expertise lie.
Professor Thraxis has access to Paragon city University resources; classrooms, grad students, and equipment. Due to some lucrative patents he has a steady income apart form his teaching salary.
Notable Inventions
- Portable Forcefield and Hologram Projector, this device allows for the projection of complex force fields and holographic projections that can protect targets or provide Holograms with physical substance, Professor Thraxis calls this marriage of technologies "hard-light holograms", these Hard Light holograms generally have generic appearances from predetermined parameters but some can be configured to meet situational demands, the system can create humanoid constructs or emit light patterns that strike at the primal centers of the brain causing pain, confusion, or fear. Thraxis can even configure his system to project a Hard light Suit of armor or any number of disguises around him.
- The Centra computing system, Centra stands for Cognizant Entity Network Tangent Recursive Array. Centra can mange vast amounts of data and is represented via a holographic avatar that can be interacted with. Using his projectors the Professor can summon Centra to aid him and fight alongside the Professor.
- Jet boot Flight System, these boots give The Professor freedom of movement around Paragon city
