Background
Possessing a body comprised of nigh impenetrable, yet still stealthy, alloys and equipped with a vastly refined form of the katar of ages past, the android known as "Erebus" was the result of a nefarious project funded by the enigmatic Malta Group to create the "perfect assassin". Having failed similar endeavors previously with organic subjects, the group turned to the field of advanced robotics in their eager attempts to emulate the powers of the heroes they combated daily. Since he was created in the form of the "ideal killer", he was designed with the most advanced AI and sensory computers. While these mechanisms together astoundingly gave him perception equivalent to that of true sentience, his villainous creators cared not and easily brainwashed him as they would any humanoid. Project Erebus was a success, and the twisted organization was in the possession of a literal killing machine.
Of course, poetic justice comes promptly to those who push their bounds. Erebus, several years ago, met his defeat at the hands of a young heroine technophile. Fortunately for Erebus, the girl had an interest in salvaging him. Upon erasing his memory core and restoring Erebus, she was quickly amazed by the android's resemblance to a human, convinced that was more than a mere weapon. Unaware of his grim past, and inspired by the encouragement of his mentor, he battles the villainy that spawned him in an effort to protect, and thereby understand, humanity.

Powers
Weaponry- Erebus has been designed with internal katar-like "push dagger" weaponry. Composed of the same strong alloys as the rest of his frame, they can pierce most kinds of protecting without wear.
Superior Armor- Erebus' remarkably hardy body has been further fortified by thick plating. This armor has, since his retsoration, been enhanced at the cost of his stealth capabilities.
Jets - Through the use of jets installed in his legs, Erebus is capable of swift and graceful flight.
Self-Repair Mechanisms- In the event that Erebus takes critical damage, he can make simpleemergency repairs on himself to remain functioning.
'Enchanced Perception- In an effort to aid Erebus in using non-lethal force, his sensors have recently been adjusted to be more precise. In addition to enabling him to abide by the Hero Corps precepts, this modification has made him more accurate overall.
