Project hypo
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
Created for peace, by war
Project Hypo was the name given to her by Crey Industries. She was designated as the first successful attempt at creating a living, breathing, loving android. Built for combat assistance during the first Rikti war fighting Hypo fought alongside the android named Bastion, later to be known as Citadel. The early model of Project Hypo was heavy with minimal reflexes. During a large battle at the hind of the first Rikti war the early build of Hypo was completely destroying in a Rikti Assault. Two years later the newer model of Project Hypo was released. This model was stronger, better, and faster than the last. This model could also make the target stronger by easing and fortifying there mind. It was also able to boost the adrenalin of a single friendly target. It seemed almost as if this model was the pin-ultimate healing machine.
Eventually it became evident that this was not the case, the model experiencing targeting issues and would heal none hero targets, the problem was never explained and the model was eventually scrapped. Once again Crey Scientists when back to the drawing board to create the ultimate healing machine. That is when Caffeine came along; the Third Generation Project Hypo was really the most advanced none-living organism on the entire planet. This model could do it all, but at a steep cost. This only made it possible to produce one model, but Crey where sure that only one was needed. For nearly two years the model worked remarkably patrolling the streets of Paragon giving add to all that needed it. Then something went horribly wrong will helping a batch of fresh heroes helping Synapse with some problems with The Clockwork. A Tesla Prince attacked the healing machine and caused a system crash in its artificial nervous system. All that money and that couldn’t even protect her from a tiny bolt of localized electricity.
The model, however, was not lost. The scientists at Crey where able to repair the model back to full functionality. However, unbeknownst to them and her for that matter, her “brain” was severely affected by the shock. Her memory and behavior modifiers where severely and steadily decreasing at an alarming rate. It was not long before she was behaving like a complete child and had no memory of what she was; it was like Alzheimer’s for an android. The model disappeared soon there after, leaving Crey out a whole heap load of money.
