History
Pyre Fantasy was always the odd character growing up. Born with red skin, she was always the target of horrible pranks or jokes from all the other kids. Eventually, she refused to continue attending a public school. Pyre's mutations became more pronounced, with horns and wings growing on her as she aged. This led her to never go outside, breaking every mirror in the house, and wearing a hood or mask if she even passed by a room with a window.
Her mother was troubled; she was not only a single parent, but also a child with unique problems. The problem had started years ago when the Circle of Thorns were kidnapping civilians for "recruitment." They were attempting to imbue a spirit into her, when a group of Midnighters broke into the room. A succubus overseeing the ritual turned to fight the intruders, along with another handful of mages. In the ensuing magic battle, a spell pierced through the succubus as well as Pyre Fantasy's mother. When the Midnighters eventually defeated the Circle mages, they tended to her wounds and ensured that the spell had no odd effects. Of course, there was a problem they hadn't checked.
Some of the succubus' infernal power was removed from the creature in the Midnight mage's spell, and was transferred to Pyre's mother. The revelation of this drove Pyre's father partially insane, and he left to the streets, never to be heard from again. The Midnight Squad mages apologized that they had not realized this possibility, and promised to support her in the future in any way they could.
Pyre Fantasy was eventually brought to the Midnight Squad group in Paragon City, where they would watch over her, offer guidance and counsel to her, as well as direct her to the brightest scientists that Paragon has to offer, to help her with her mutations.
She is still hostile towards people in general, but she can easily accept people when she gets to know them.
Powers
Pyre Fantasy can breathe white hot fire, as well as conjure it in her hands. She tosses these towards her enemies, and enjoys their tormented screams as they panic. This has caused her to attack innocent civilians in the past, but she struggles to keep her pyromaniac urges under control. Some of her advisers suggested that she instead frequent places that would allow her to vent excess energy, such as clubs and parties. Pyre took this advice to heart, and has even joined the Paragon's Party Pad.
She also possess powers similar to those that succubi use to lure men. Pyre uses these suggestive powers in an attempt to restore the fighting spirit of her comrades, but can also use them to a limited extent on enemies to incapacitate them or disrupt their thought processes.
