History
At the age of 13, Jack Wyeg joined the small group of Hellions that worked in Kings Row. He was assigned a unit with the other fresh recruits. One of the others, Jason Silverson, took charge of the group and did things beyond what was expected of new recruits. The whole group quickly rose through the ranks while Jack and Jason became close friends. When he was 16, the Hellions chose him for their PYRO experiment. They were building the PYRO suit. It was filled with fuel and the gloves were heated so the fuel would catch fire as it left his hands. It's sort of like a giant flamethrower but it would normally be use just to strengthen punches and light enemies on fire. Eventually, they found how to shape certain forms and supplied the Fire Sword. After completion, they gave Jack the suit and sent him to rob a lab that was holding very flammable chemicals along with others. They were ratted out and had to fight Longbow with a few heroes mixed in. The group watched Jason fall into a vat of chemicals and then they ran. Later, Jason would return with super powers and the two would work together to pull of big jobs. But they were caught robbing a warehouse and were sent to the Zig. They shared a cell and they always defended each other from the other inmates. One day, Arachnos broke them out and offered them jobs on the Bounty Hunter Branch, a rarely heard about branch of Arachnos. They were asked to take on secret names, Jack took Pyro Jaw (due to a fight he had that broke all his teeth) and Jason took Laser-Beam. After being tested, Pyro was placed at #2. They pulled off a series of successful murders, but when they went to Atlas Park to kill the mayor, it all went wrong. Once they landed, Laser went outside for some air while the others went over the plan. They decided Laser should be here and went outside to get him. When they were outside they saw him running in the opposite direction. They began to run after him but the helicopter blew up and they were all badly injured. After going back to the Rogue Isles, Lord Recluse shut down the Bounty Hunter program and let the others work for him as Destined Ones.
The PYRO Suit
Pyro Jaw uses a suit constructed by Hellions. The suit allows him to use fire however he wants. The boots give him extra high and long jumping distance. The suit is filled with a flammable substance to fuel the fires. When ignited, the user can use his hand motions and his thoughts to control what the fire does. When the fuel dies out, all that the suit is a heavy object. Even the boots use the fuel. The suit is also fireproof, it can stand incredible temperatures before even starting to melt. The bandana around his face is to hide his deformed mouth and to keep the bottom half of his face safe from heat.
Charcoal Mode
When he started working with Arachnos, he decided he needed a stealth mode so they could assassinate their targets cleaner and quicker. He had them develop Charcoal Mode. At the press of a button, the suit changes into a burnt orange and black. That makes it a bit harder to see him. It also changed the color of the fire into darker shades. The suit will be upgraded in the near future with the ability to be invisible.
Weaknesses
Pyro Jaw is a very strong man and his suit makes him even stronger. But he has his weaknesses and his weakest point is intelligence. He often doesn't think things through and has terrible grammar. This is probably due to the fact that he dropped out of school as a Freshman in High School. Before that, he rarely went to his classes and when he did, he never paid attention or he was sent to the principals for bullying other kids.
Entropy Legion & Recent Plots
Pyro Jaw was recently asked to join the reformed Entropy Legion. Upon accepting, he was one of the first members under the rule of Radium Blight. Lord Recluse has also approached Pyro. He is trying to get the Bounty Hunter Branch back into action because it really made things easier for him. He's assigned Pyro to getting Laser-Beam back onto the team and has been unsuccessful thus far.
