Biography
Once, Raziel's Tear was called Alicia Johnsen, a girl of no special importance, born in 1981. During the first hours of the Rikti war the building her family lived in was completely leveled by a Rikti battleship's main cannon firing at a charging hero. She survived only because she was elsewhere at the time.
This was not the end of the tragedy the Rikti war would cause her. Not a week later, while hiding out in a mostly abandoned building with her long-time friend and recent lover, a stray bolt of energy fired by a Rikti combatant shattered a window, and plowed right into her beloved, killing him instantly. In addition, the flying glass badly scarred her face.
She awoke with her dead lover atop her, his blood dripping down her face. While deeply grieved and infuriated, part of her mind remained calculating and calm, guiding her through cleaning herself up and surviving. She made sure to remember the path her lover's blood had taken across her face, and after the war, had that path tattooed on her face.
While she deeply despises the Rikti for what they've done to her, she found herself interested in their technology, particularly so she can beat them at their own game. She became an avid, if reckless researcher, experimenting with implanting Rikti technology in the human body: Her own.
Powers
Her powers are primarily based on her Rikti implants. Of particular note are the implants in her hands. She can focus their power to create bolts or waves of energy, or to deal a powerful blow up-close. Implants throughout her body gave her ever increasing capability of flight, as she learned to control them.
As she got more in tune with her implants, they have also been providing her with more and more of a boost in times of exertion, increasing her ability to heal and to sustain an assault. In fact, in certain cases the implants take over part of her body functions, as well as generating an external armor that's completely fused with the skin.
While she has a tool belt, the belt and the items it holds are merely for convenience, containing non-essentials like makeup. A handbag never was her style.
Desires
Currently, Raziel's Tear's main desire is to keep training to be more in tune with her implants, so she might eventually join Vanguard, and take the battle to the enemy she so despises.
