the Luddites - Jacques' need of directions to Aeon University led him to an unwelcome group of Luddites quickly making them the type to avoid.
Group
The Dread Aces - A mutual agreement between Crimson Cutlass and Jacques Rousseau, in exchange for fencing lessons he gets her service as a Rogue Isles "tour guide".
Aeon University - An invitation by Dean John Yu brought him to the Rogue Isles to teach fencing.
Personality
Jacques Rousseau is that kind and modest French man drinking tea over there in Pocket D. He has that Victorian era appeal to him. He's also a fencing instructor, though you wouldn't guess it until you get a closer look at the rapier's to either side of his belt.

The Revenant Rapier or *L'estoc, depending on what part of the globe you're from, is straight forward in his business dealings. He's an assassin more so than a hit man. He doesn't take an everyday man's life, it has to be someone of importance to society, whether it's good or bad for society. Whoever pays the best gets his services to help shape the future.

Character History
Quick Overview
Mutant from Paris, France that's a world class fencer turned assassin, hit man named the Revenant Rapier, though known as L'estoc in France. His real name is Jacques Rousseau, but no one currently knows his alter ego the Revenant Rapier. There maybe be one, but it is unknown at this time.
The French Connection
Shocking Discovery
Jacques Rousseau was born to Dayne and Adreanna Rousseau in Paris, France 1972. He grew up as a normal child in a middle upper class family. He eventually took an interest to swords so he convinced parents to enroll him into fencing classes at a young age. He took leaps and bounds in the art of fencing being one of the youngest to ever achieve the rank of Senior in foil, epee, and sabre by age 12. Two years later an unfortunate turn of events resulted in the death of a fellow fencer during a match leading to the discovery of his latent ability. He would've been Olympic bound if not for his mutant powers. He didn't let that stop him from continuing his pursuit of becoming one of the best fencers in the world, but it would take additional training to control his new found abilities.

The Teacher
Learning to control his abilities he starts his own fencing school in 1994 known as the Rousseau Academy of Fencing (R.A.F., for short.). Though it's tailored more towards mutants, he accepts everyone that wants to learn the art of fencing.
The Assassin
Keeping his school active in its early stages were a burden from the beginning. The general upkeep of swords, equipment, and the building took a large toll on Jacques Rousseau's wallet. Needing to find other ways to help keep his academy in the black he turned to special interest groups looking for a foot hold into the European infrastructure, specifically assassinations on high ranking officers and politicians. Calling himself L'estoc to hide his identity from these groups.
L'estoc was able to construct a new costume by his first hit. Originally consisting of his fencing garb he bought full body Kevlar suit. Shorty thereafter he modified the Kevlar suit to be more flexible for his work on the field and additionally added heavy leather spiked gloves and boots for protection and more deadly body strikes in close range. Donning a white mask with only eye and nose socket markings.

Dear Headmaster Jacques Rousseau,
Not to pry you away from your colleagues and students in Paris at the Rousseau Academy of Fencing. Our university has taken an interest in adding fencing courses to our curriculum and would be honored if you would like to travel abroad to Cap Au Diable of the Rogue Isles where our Aeon University resides. I wish I could go more in depth with you at this time, but I have been heavily weighted with a large influx of new students this semester. Everything you would possibly need or want will be at your disposal once you arrive at our campus.

A still unknown reason as to why he has this ability, but can use it to scale long distances and to move a threat to a different location.

Peak psychical conditioning through weight, cardiovascular, and fence training.
Medicine
Knowing conditions can be harsh on his body he has a small healing spray device to quickly heal small wounds.
Mu Mastery
Additional training has allowed him to slightly manipulate electricity beyond his body.
