Personality

Lucas McAllister is a anarchic instigator, cocky, and crude young man that finds himself in the middle of mosh pits, gang wars, and the local PPD holding cell on a regular basis, but he's an overall good guy. He'll stick by anyone that needs his help, though being unconventional in his actions to solve said problems sometimes do backfire on him. He could be a sleaze bag, but just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. He's very sparingly when it comes to one-night-stands since he's more interested in a stable relationship, but it's hard to come by being in a band.

Character History

Quick Overview

Lucas McAllister is a student at Paragon University. He's a B student, but find himself on the wrong side of the law on multiple occasions. Lucas can make use of about any object laying around on the street, manhole covers, garbage can lids, hubcaps, etc. Mostly because he has the tendencies to taunt a lot of the local gangs and gets himself into heaps of trouble instigating fights with them. Lucas doesn't have a super hero license, making him a vigilante in the eyes of local law enforcement, but never finds himself locked locked up for very long because he always manages to get top tier gang leaders tangled with him so they get hauled into the precinct.

Early Life

Lucas McAllister was born to William and Audrey McAllister in Paragon City, Rhode Island. He was always mischievous growing up, but it was nothing ever drastic enough for him to be in a trouble for very long. If music was played that's all he'd ever want to do, listen. His parents were well versed in their musical collection allowing to immerse himself in whatever record was laying around. In high school he decided to start a band, but nothing ever really took hold. He just continued to play his guitar to get better. During his first year at Paragon University he met Joseph Drake from Austin, Texas and Derek Tsang from Redmond, Washington. They quickly became friend and realized they all had musical talent and form a band by the name of Mutant Sewage.

Perez Park-palooza

It was a great idea, but would it actually work. That was the discussion between Lucas, Joe, and Derek of Mutant Sewage. Sneak into Perez Park and have a concert at the old amphitheater near Everett Lake. Barring any setbacks it would be success and Mutant Sewage would make a name for itself for doing something outlandish in the local punk scene. Creating a poster entitled the Free Concert: Perez Park-palooza featuring Mutant Sewage at Midnight at a copy shop they (Lucas, Joe, and Derek) spread out across Paragon City posting them up anywhere someone would or could run across them. They now had three weeks to prepare. However sneaking into Perez Park isn't as easy as they first thought, finding the right place to get there took a couple of tries. Wading through the sewers made sense, only by their name, but there was no way they could keep it clear from gangs long enough for people to come and find them. The best option they could come up with was to employ one of their groupies to "seduce" the security guards and drug them.

Today was the day the plan went into effect. They were ready, she was ready, and things went so smoothly Lucas swore that something could go wrong. Joe and Derek shook off his paranoia and began to truck in the needed lights, amps, and speakers. With everything setup, now it was just a matter of will people show up. And show up they did, a sea of head banging, most pit loving people filed around the amphitheater. "LET GET THIS PARTY STARTED," Lucas yelled into the microphone. Lucas, Joe, and Derek all break out in their song setting the place off like a rocket.

It was rocking, but it received a little too much attention, specifically a group of Hellions and Skulls. They both seem interested in the event that was taking place around Everett Lake. To their surprise a large group of people and a band had taken up shop at the amphitheater, but worst of all, Lucas saw both of the groups as they finished a song. "Hey, I guess Hellions and Skulls like our music too," Lucas said with a laugh. Promptly alerting both sides and that's when everything went wrong. A rush to the center of the people in the crowd as Hellions and Skulls alike started swinging at each other dispersing the crowd to find any kind of exit. "HEY, YOU GOTTA PROBLEM," Lucas asked through the microphone. They all paused and looked at him. Derek and Joe both were giving Lucas the "what the hell are you doing" look. Lucas laughed, "YOU WANNA FIGHT, FIGHT ME!"

Derek and Joe in unison said,"Ah..., shit."

Surprisingly Lucas, Joe and Derek are all pretty good fighters. Jumping in guitar first Lucas employed his guitar to do most of the damage, swinging it into oncoming Hellions and Skulls. Joe use of his drum sticks were rather humorous, using them like kali sticks and the occasional double eye poke on unsuspecting gang members. Unlike Lucas or Joe, Derek actually knew jujitsu, and easily took down a slew of Hellions, Skulls, and whatever else was still there at that point. About six blinding lights came around the bend, a horn loudspeaker bursting saying, "This is the police, put your hands up." Jumping out of the SWAT vehicles police officers in full SWAT regalia went to pick up all of the downed gang members. Any remaining conscious gang member began to split up so they could possibly avoid getting arrested.

"Fuck," Lucas said as he laid a final blow across a Skulls face and dropping his guitar to the ground.

Lucas, Joe, and Derek didn't put up a fight against the PPD, they all knew better. On their way to the Kings Row precinct, in the back of the paddy wagon Lucas said to Joe and Derek, "I think that was success, well to a degree." They all three nodded in agreement.

Lucas, Joe, and Derek were all in the same interrogation room. Slamming some paper on the desk Detective Becktrees was a very upset man. "What the hell were you guys thinking?"

"It was a good idea at the time," Derek said with a shrug.

"You guys are so very lucky right now. I'd throw the book at you, but you guys were able to let us arrest Brimstone and Bonebreaker, two high positioned gang members."

"Anyway we can help out," Lucas said with a smirk.

"Listen smart ass," Becktrees said pointing at Lucas, "I'd make all three of you do community service, but again this is your first time offense. So all three of you get to walk out of here with a warning. If you want to do something like this again I suggest that you go to City Hall and get yourselves a superhero license so you'd be in the proper level clearance and won't have to arrest you."

"Okay, okay, point made. Sorry that we went beyond our boundaries and caused a ruckus," Joe said.

"Apology accepted, but you guys better keep in line, I don't want to have to deal with this ever again."

Night of the Kabong!

Lucas had plans for an on campus concert, but not just any concert he wanted it to mean something. Turning in non-perishable canned food for the local shelter would be the ticket into the show. Working through the faculty to get permission for such a thing was hard since their Perez Park concert was considered to be a disaster in the eyes of Paragon University. With enough deliberation and the cause it was going to, they approved Mutant Sewage's performance. It was going to be packed. Using the large storage room in the basement of one of the PU buildings, it gave them a good setup. They could have faculty at the door taking in the canned goods and let them do the rest. They even invited the Steel Canyon precinct to be involved with the show. That would again be an undoing of Lucas in the events that would happen later that day.

The crowd was actually larger than anyone had expected, there were more than just college students there, peppered in were some high school kids that wanted a glimpse of Mutant Sewage, but with the proper guidance of PPD and faculty it wasn't a problem to let them, since they did provide the means to get into the show. This would become the eventual first meeting of Juliette Coles, Lucas, and Johnny Marcone. There were so many people that they actually had to start turning people away due to the fire safety limits in the number of people in the building.

"PU, YOU READY TO ROCK," Lucas asked the packed crowd. A loud "YEAH" was their response. "Then I think it's time we kick it into gear."

"Ready, and, one, and, two, three, four..." Joe said hitting his drum sticks together breaking into their first song.

It was time to make the rounds on stage to introduce themselves to the crowd. "Behind me, the man with the plan, and his sick drum beats, Joe Drake," Lucas announced as Joe broke out into a wicked drum solo. "And to my left is Derek Tsang, our Asian brother with the blazing fingers of doom on bass." Lucas said when Derek went into one of his crazy dances while playing on bass. Eying the crowd, he noticed a girl on the far left wall, a guy was draped over her, even with the bad lighting he could tell she wasn't enjoying her self. "Hey, little lady over there, you need some help," Lucas asked, people in the crowd started to look around, but it didn't look like she heard him. Lucas said with his mouth away from the microphone, "Guys keep it going, give me a minute." Joe and Derek both nodded and kept their beat going. Lucas hopped down from the make shift stage and holding his guitar from the neck began to push his way through the crowd to 'save' the girl he noticed. He heard her say 'no' as he finally got his way through the crowd and paused for a second. "Hey, I think she said no," Lucas said as he placed a hand on the guy turning him around, a future Johnny Turbo, and slugged him with his guitar making a large "kachang" sound knocking him out onto the floor. Derek quickly said, "And that's Lucas McAllister, the lead vocal and guitarist for Mutant Sewage."

Lucas making his point to Detective Becktrees.

"You okay," Lucas asked the girl.

"Yeah," the girl said still staring at the ground.

"What's your name," Lucas asked.

"J-J-Juliette Cole," she said.

"Hey Juliette, I'm Lucas, if you didn't already hear Derek up there," He smiled and started back to the stage.

One of the Steel Canyon police officers saw what had happened and come up to Lucas as he was about to set back onto the stage and said, "You're going to have to come with us."

"Okay, but can you at least let us finish the show before I do that?"

"Eh, I guess, this is for a good cause and I know you aren't going to run off afterward," he said with a shrug.

Mutant Sewage finished their set and waited until most of the crowds had left to start packing up. Lucas knew where he was going to be that night. "Joe, Derek can you take care of everything while I'm gone?"

"Yeah, sure thing," Joe said.

Mosh Pits, Midnight Fights, and Mornings After, Oh My!

Kings Row was busier than usual, but he knew he was the cause of it. Mutant Sewage had a show that night in one of the hole-in-the-wall clubs. Everyone else in the band was ready to head home, however Lucas' night was far from over.

"Lucas, see you tomorrow for practice," Joe said with a girl hanging off his shoulders.

"Yeah," he said his he was tying his military boots.

"Alright, later," Derek said as he closed the club's dressing room.

Lucas smacking around Skulls in Kings Row.

"Later," Lucas said as he was changing his shirt. Instead of getting a girl and going back to his apartment to get a lay, he was going to clean up some of the local riffraff that night. His adrenaline had been flowing all night from their great music set and figured it would be a good time to keep it going. Lucas isn't a licensed hero, but he feels there is no thrill in it once everyone expects you to be. This was his way of helping out local law enforcement and licensed supers, but he's never been careful about, which has allowed for a lot of scrutiny of other vigilantes that work in Paragon. Aptly dubbed the Riot Punk, Lucas is known to create a one-man riot against gang members and is seen many a night with an questionably acquired riot shield.

Lucas was used to this, it had only been a few hours, but police officers were starting to get tired of it. He had gotten himself hauled into Kings Row precinct after starting a fight with a group of Skulls. Opening the door to the interrogation room Det. Becktrees walk in. "So what did you do this time?"

"You have to ask," Lucas said with a smirk leaning back on the chair.

Becktrees presses his temples with his hand, "Honestly, you have to stop doing this, it's getting hard and harder to let you back out scot-free."

"I don't see how this is any different than a super punching the shit out of them."

"Well, it is, I didn't make the damn rules about it, but you either have to get yourself a license or stop altogether."

"It's a double standard. There is no way I'm going to get one, way too much red tape you have to deal with, and I still seem to get by."

"I'm aware of that Lucas, just be glad I've got no problem with you doing, you just need to be a bit more careful. One of these days I'm not going to be able to bail you out and then you'll have to deal with who you scuffled with in the same jail cell," Becktrees said with a sigh, "Are you even listening?"

"Loud and clear," Lucas said, "but seriously though, are we done, I have a class in about thirty minutes."

Becktrees face palms in an exasperated sigh, "Yes, need a ride?"

"I should be fine, thanks for asking though," Lucas says to Detective Becktrees and waving at some of the Kings Row precinct officers as he walks out.
