Sabre Wolf

(Huge Work In Processes.

Please bare with me while I outline and organize everything :)

Also FYI like Seraph, the name Sabre was given as an "insurance policy" - so to speak - to keep the name Wolf. I was full of haste so I didn't think of anything else when Killer Instinct came to mind. So yes, if you can help it don't refer to him as Saber. It's not an entirely large Pet Peeve but it's taking a lot of work so if I'm in a bad mood it can only add slight increments. :P)

Biography (WIP)

"I'm just your ordinary guy doing what he believes in. And that right now is protecting each and everyone of you lazy fucks. haha"

Matt joined the military at the age of 18 and was called for special training at the age of 20 after a year and a half of call waiting. Number 21 of the omitted three hundred enlistees who signed up for Delta Training. Only Thirty Five were accepted while others were enlisted for lower roles in the United States Marine Corps. Matt's test scores in Code: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow - were above average and thus welcomed with open arms. Once he was accepted he was immediately prepped and then suited up with the experimental Nano-TechTech Suit along with the other Thirty Four. Missions that could be compromised resulted in serious repercussions.

Since he could first walk, Matt always enjoyed the feeling of adventure. From merely climbing a tree to see how high he could go to periodically pretending to stay at a friends while actually camping by himself in a dense forest of the back yards. He was rather skinny and at the start of his child hood often times among the shortest of his class mates. Until the age of Eighteen Matt actually grew up in a Rural environment surrounded by trees, farms, and houses that were built on acres not square feet. This gave Matt plenty of opportunity to enjoy the wilds. Often times an average student in his studies, Matt was often times quiet in class and rarely spoke for such events as presentation projects. Usually among the last of his classmates to volunteer when the class was opted to do so. Gym was his favorite course while science and math he excelled at. Bright young kid with a sense of morality, hopes and dreams.

At the age of Eighteen he finally moved to a city with his parents just before they would have him try to enlist for college courses. Matt showed some distaste to this idea however especially with prices being so steep, Matt instead looked to the military and and the USMC was his choice. While Matt wasn't quite comfortable with guns he was a natural at target practice but it was merely the training and exercises that he enjoyed most. The feeling of sweat dripping down his chiseled body and the burn of muscle toxins helping tighten tissue to increase his build. It was when he would lay down at lights out and stare at the sealing while his body began to relax that he felt truly accomplished. His stay at boot camp was as short as any other recruit that passed the training.

Upon entering the Core, Matt's first destination while holding his records was to the Navy Seal regiment training. While his performance was at the pinnacle of everything they desired, at his dismay he was transferred to the United States Air Force through a process of a couple months. Matt wasn't comfortable with this procedure until he found out he was enlisted for an experimental project conducted by the United States Delta Force. His limits were pushed beyond that which was required for Navy Seal training and at one point Matt even doubted himself passing. However during some live test exercises, Matt's scored just within the margin of acceptance while beating a few others to the spot. At the age of Twenty Two and three months later, Matt returned home to visit the family and the following day opened a letter of the United States stating that he was qualified and accepted into the Delta Force's Tech Project.

Matt and the others who were accepted had grown a tight nit after a three month training procedure again to identify their true strengths that would then designate them into their roles upon active duty. All of whom were unsure of what to expect but never the less wanted to see possibly what kind of bird they would be flying or what sort of new weapon they would be firing. Of course none of them were prepared when an odd and never been tested exoskeleton was brought into show. With awkward stares they watched a volunteer slip into the suit and become something else... a machine; the first to don the suit developed the image of an army itself and just the simple stare back of the soldier was enough to motivate the rest. Needless to say the process of outfitting was more or less quite simple and took only a short while to get used to upon identifying each and every mode and figuring out what to use it for. For a few months they would train in these suits almost indefinitely some would even grow a kinship with the suit itself as if not wanting to ever take it off. And in the end all were designated to a close team of five that would become their permanent "family" while on duty.

Numerous missions would be handed down to designated teams and operations conducted. Matt with team Raptor, would take on quite a few missions involving search and rescue of anything from CIA agents undercover to Search and Rescue of PoWs.

The most famous incident in Military history around this time was the Iraq Crisis where rumors of a prototype nuclear device had surfaced. In which some CIA agents expressed immediate action. The Delta Force took this opportunity with the hopes of accomplishing that mission and ensuring complete secrecy. Team Raptor was to head the operation at Midnight while lower Delta teams and Marines would conduct a simultaneous and diversion of an assault to attract eyes of on lookers so Special Ops could infiltrate and uncover any information. It was also the first time the United States authorized a "Assassination" with the special division where Team Falcon, co-op partner of Raptor, would secure the ground to initiate the kill with Raptor Team Leader: Fox to pull the trigger. When the nuclear device's blue prints were uncovered, intel was astonished at exactly what kind of prototype weapon it was; a Micro Pulse Bomb. With millions of other persons within the area of the supposed grown zero, all teams were to intercept during an all out assault. Alph and Bravo teams were to head up the disarming after the blue print was analyzed and a safe rout was ensured. Unfortunately during this event, While Falcon and Raptor were making their way around the wide territory, the bomb was set off despite the disarming being reported as a success. Intel uncovered a black box from one of the downed Helos and recoved bits of recordings pertaining to Alpha's last transmission.

Colonel Jax: "There it's done. The bomb has been disabled. We're now packing out things and he-... wait a minute. Son of a bitch the fuckers are going to detonate by remote. All Delta Teams get your asses out of here, MOVE!"

The culprits behind the bomb were never identified but further investigation over previous intelligence indicated that the bomb was sold by some gray company to Middle Eastern Terrorists. Interrogation methods were conducted on arrested terrorists who insisted that the bomb was never to go off and it was more of a spoof to ensure they would get what they asked in their demands prior to the assault. The original care takers were never identified. All Delta surviving Delta Teams were removed from active duty as a temporary process, intel reports found information pertaining to a possible spy. In any case, this crisis was known as the worst and most gruesome of conflicts ever dated in the history text books, most of which was covered up for a year for as long as possible until rumors began to surface.

The Nano Suit

"Think of it as a Second Layer of Skin" General Mc. Griggs

A Remarkably robotic engineered suit of millions on millions of interlaced and carefully built nanites. The first prototype was actually a four piece suit while the final product was just a chest piece like any other vest. The differences were that upon activation the finalized product would emit and self replicate billions of nanites at the molecular level that would construct the suit in a matter of seconds. Very efficient for traveling as it was like being fully protected despite appearing as wearing nothing but a kevlar vest under dress clothes.

These carefully interlaced and machine built machines were originally the byproduct of a breakthrough for medical technology. The original prototype Version: 0.07 was to have nanites injected directly into the blood stream but five out of five cases proved ultimately fatal and so a rush for Version: 1.0 was still under way. It wasn't until the first practical prototype's launch that methods for creating a much more sophisticated but bettered equipped system had gone under way. Version: 2.0 would utilize a chest armor that houses the main "factory" so to speak. Nanites would take form of a liquid and chromatic substance that carefully clings to the body. Upon fully coating the body in this gel-like substance, the suit would take form into it's bulky predecessor.

Both suits house the same abilities: Strength, Speed, Armor, and Cloak. Speed and Strength simply amplify the person's natural abilities while Armor increases protection. Cloak was a breakthrough in stealth technology, making light bend around the subject through nano-reflectors and allowing them to slip by undetected.. While not entirely invisible the subject still remains hard to see making it superb for dark areas or at a distance.

The Price of Failure

"I'm anything but a hero. I was reborn that day I lost everything. My acts of 'random kindness' are a product of revenge. Nothing more, for every sin I'll have to pay."

Investigations were carried out by the highest government officials to deduce what had happened during the Middle East, which they called the "The Middle East Massacre". All Delta operatives and other military personal who had survived the chaos, were either checked up on on a periodic basis or put into a full in depth interrogation. Information danced around the answers CIA agents and others were truly looking for but no explicit hints of trails could be followed.

On the other hand Matt was one of those who was monitored secretly. For a little under two weeks he had hoped his life would return to a more subtle state and things would at least become "normal". Unfortunately one evening as he went out to buy food and other groceries his home was attacked. Matt arrived at the scene finding the house lights out, even though it was only 10:00pm where as Tatiana should of still been up. Almost immediately he went into a covert stance and began to tread carefully over his own land. With only a Glock at his side, Matt crept through the house from a back door and once entering the dinning room he saw his wife and child. Almost immediately as Tatiana cried, although tape covered her mouth, Matt was jumped by three suspects. Taken completely off guard, Matt attempted to find his footing and then defend himself but the three were exceptionally good and his thought of dodging their fire arms was considered more luck based on clumsiness than anything else. Upon further investigation as he ducked around a wall he found that the ammunition being fired were those of darts. The suspect's weapons emitted a light whip sound, his deductive skills kicked into motion; they were arm mounted miniature cross bows.

It was his time to take action and he did. He grabbed the closest thing he could find and tossed it as a method of distraction at just the right angle to give the pitch he wanted. Targets moved into position and he began the ambush, as he disarmed and struck all through to the best of his abilities; one he managed to bump into and heard the grunt of what sounded like a feminine voice. Caught off his guard once again, Matt was kicked with a side kick only to fly back and knocked down onto a table; breaking it on impact. They were women, all three but exceptionally skilled upon figuring their reaction times compared to his execution.

Just then gun fire rang out, a former friend and Squad mate "Bishop" erupted into the room managing to kill two of the female suspects with the third getting shot in the leg and then fleeing. Bishop had called in support telling Matt, "Something isn't right. The same thing happened to Renolds, whoever these people are they're systematically wiping us out Shepard." At which point Matt was given a spare P90 and Bishop added, "That one has reinforcements. The helicopter is in the back, we'll move asap and I'll cover you; get your wife and child out of here pronto."

At which point the two moved in exceptional fashion, Matt helped his wife and child up as quickly as possible and led them to the back yard. Matt in his anger looked to Bishop, who knew Matt wanted revenge in which Bishop simply nodded. The helicopter began to warm up, propellers beating at the midnight air and the metal vehicle began to lift. Matt turned his back for but a second to look back at the house when he heard a loud whistle and then a boom followed by a crackle. His eyes widened and he turned his head to find what he feared most, a rocket colliding just the split second after he observed the whole scene. Time had slowed and he watched in horror and flames engulfed the vehicle before the explosion's wave knocked both him and Bishop back. His right hand raised and reached out to what he felt was the aura and presence of his family looking back at him, he then blacked out.

What felt like only seconds was actually hours, Matt opened his eyes slowly, the ringing of the explosion still in his ears. He gazed around to find he was back in the living room which immediately flames began to spark. The entire room illuminated when he focused to find a female body looking, her back to him, and standing over the fire which she no doubt had started. The woman turned around, her attire was unlike anything she he had ever scene; green colored cloth with utilities all over her body she made a comment and even with the mask over her mouth, Matt could identify the smirk. Her eyes hidden by some kind of visor but her blond hair unmistakably hanging down to her shoulders. His head was still pounding, the flickers of the flames didn't make a noise. The woman, standing seductively with the weight to one side of her body over Matt looked down at him before showing Matt what looked like to be some kind of sophisticated grenade in her hand in front of him. She reeled back and began to step back, turning one end of the grenade and pushing the top down. A soft flip of her wrist and she tossed the grenade behind her. As Matt closed his eyes and opened again, he saw the woman had vanished. And then the bright flash illuminated the full room before he could feel the heat. His body did not feel scorched however, he simply drifted into what felt like nothingness; everything was white and then dimmed to black.

Upon opening his eyes once more, Matt found himself looking up at the innards of a helicopter. The beating of propellers slowly caught his attention. It was as if someone were turning the volume slowly louder and louder. That's when, as he gazed around the cabin, he found unfamiliar uniformed sitting around him. Night Vision goggles in pairs of two red orbs, numbering 7 not including the pilot and co-pilot, glanced at him. Their attire consisting of navy blue swat gear but without any labels and one of them among the rest wore a cowboy hat, all of them their faces concealed. He blacked out once more and fell back into a deeper sleep; his battle had ended that night but tomorrow would start anew.

Skills, abilities, and armaments

"It's all tools of the trade. I just like baring my fangs a little if you get my... point"

Augmentation

At first glance one would assume Matt has developed beyond what standard fitness could perform. But in truth most of his seemingly augmentations are actually the subject of sustained training through the military and under the pressure of the Nano suit. When donning the full suit, his natural abilities are amplified to extreme degrees. From being able to burst from a stand still to a sprint at 35mph in less than a second from his suit's Speed Mode to lifting steel garters or cars under Strength Mode. The suit does most of the work at 75% leaving only his actions left to guide and initiate the task.

Strengths

Without his suit, Matt could easily be identified as some sort of current or ex military member. His body isn't bustling but he's also not fragile. Standard six pack of abs, well formed pecs; for the most part he's stacked from extensive training while both during the service of his time and current occupation. Standing up he has a well formed posture, medium length neck giving space between his head and shoulders, and his shoulders are well off to the sides. Beyond that his performance is at it's peak. Being able to bench press up to 400lbs as his max and run a mile in, the fastest timed, 5:58:07.

Skills and/or Abilities

Growing up, Matt always felt he had a firm capability to understand psychology. When he was but a child his first choice of what to be when he were to get older, was a detective. He figured that not only was he good at being observant but felt he could also determine motives and nearly identify exactly key specifics in a test, which was taken close to his enrollment within the military. His so called understanding of psychology to him is important as it allows him to understand what others go through and maybe coop or find the error in their ways and help them overcome such speed bumps. During his service in the military this keen insight however also allowed him to identify motives of suspects on various jobs as well as determine their plans to intervene. Matt was known as the intelligence of the team because under pressure would think the quickest and determine the probable outcome of a given situation. Aside from his 'intuition' Matt is a careful speaker but still manages to get his point across.

Intuition, it's hard for him to define it as a curse or gift. He has said that it often times saved his life this "gut feeling" but also admits that this causes him to be up tight, always prepared for the worst and thus expecting it. That being said his ability to react to such event are most notably high because of his advance in preparation. It's safe to say that if one arranges a meeting, he's prepared to kill you with little hesitation if he feels a set up. This advanced perception also allows him to predict and avoid unfortunate outcomes, combined with his Nano-Suit he has the ability to to even determine trajectories of projectiles via the analysis of the UI in the helmet. Often times one would assume it's a stroke of luck that Matt is capable to avoid such encounters such as missiles or high caliber rounds from hand guns to mounted cannons; but in truth it's merely his intuition.

Everything else is mostly catered to his suit that provides the easiest and most up to speed process of enacting and engaging with any situation. Matt can even alternate between suit modes at such speeds where the energy from one mode can transfer to the other to deliver combos. Such as developing momentum from speed, throwing his right arm out adding to the momentum with strength. Under certain aspects he could sack a concrete wall and make a rather large hole bigger than himself; quite possibly a hint of transferring kinetic energy through objects to deliver more powerful blows.

Armaments

Wolf is most notably identified or suspected of a kill by slash wounds or literally seen dual wielding two blades. His so called signature choice of weaponry are two Katanas forged out of Impervium metal. There's enough data to go off of that one could assume he's trained extensively with these weapons. Some combos of slashes caught on security cameras were recorded to only being identified by the marks or strikes; in which case cameras couldn't pick up the speed. Of course, his choice of close combat weaponry benefits most of his suit's ability to bend light and cloak his entire body. This allows for him to sneak up and strike up close and into the face of his target or behind them. In any case, his skills with dual wielding blades is remarkable where even experts would claim he must have been training since he could first hold something. Such has never been confirmed. Aside from dual wielding two katanas, during more face to face confrontations Matt will use small daggers or miniature katanas as well. Knives most often consisting of two different types, daggers and hand crafted kunai. Daggers allowing more precise strikes for the kill and kunai for ranged distractions or lacking the availability of a firearm.

At times Wolf's chosen weapon for ranged combat is a modified FN P90. Modifications consists of: Scope, Compressor, Rail extenders to enhance range, and even the whole bulk of the weapon was increases in size to provide the ability to fire larger rounds. It's safe to assume his knowledge from the military, the money he has made throughout his life, that Matt indeed makes his own armaments which also make him impossible to track considering no records of utilities could be found. This also carries over to most of his weaponry as none of which is categorized in any standard arms dealing stores available to people with access, such as military personal etc. Sometimes Matt will use a Berrett 50Cal. Sniper Rifle for assassinations at a distance but that has only been counted to occur once during his courier.

Pistols are sometimes but rarely seen on his persons. Mostly a Match 15 with, like most of his weaponry, customized modifications such as round improvements and compressors. Mostly used for face to face confrontations during "business hours" but more often than not, they're used for show to show he's armed.
