Character History
Raja Seumalu enjoyed fighting and wrestling the other children just as his peers did with him. He could over power even the largest of his friends. He grew up to be tall in stature and muscle, but too built to partake in Japanese Sumo wrestling as some of his friends started to do after they graduated high school. He took up boxing and martial arts as alternative to what his friends did, eventually taking to kick boxing and becoming an international champion. He had been asked many times by Ultimate Fighting Tournaments, taking a few offers here and there, but didn't find any satisfaction in winning that brand of fighting. Reverting back to kick boxing being one of the longest holders and still current champion, but relocating to Paragon City, RI as his new home. The words of super humans living there intrigued him on training against the strangest of foes. His grandfather learning of this sent him a small package. It was a turquoise and silver tiger-striped with a gold and silver broach. A letter inside wrote:
Dear Raja,
I thought you might put this to good use. You see I was a hero once, but there are very few villains that ever showed up in the Samoa's I retired from it and helped raise you. I could always tell there was something different about you that it was like looking at myself at a young age. The cape broach is an old mystical artifact that allows one to fly. Hope you enjoy flying as much as I did.

Paper clipped to the back of the letter was a picture of his grandfather donning the cape with finned half-mask, gloves and boots, flipping it to the other side it read "the Samoan Shark - 1955". Raja just smiled and said to himself. This is going to be fun. The second coming of the Samoan Shark has arrived.

- Samoan Shark is the second of three characters influenced by Polynesian lore, names, or places.
- His original concept was a boxing prize fighter as a Willpower/Super Strength Tanker, but was reconsidered because of the my existing Tanker Irish Stout.
- He's also a reattempt at playing Martial Arts on a Scrapper.
- Influences include Dwanye Johnson "the Rock" and the SNK Fatal Fury character Joe Higachi.
- Raja isn't particular to wearing shirts, he likes to show off his heritage, his tattoo.
