General
No one seems to know where Santonius is from or why he's here. What is known is that he's made quite a name for himself in Arachnos - as a constant thorn in their side. Loyal only to himself, he openly expresses his distrust of Lord Recluse, though Recluse himself thinks this man below his notice. Perhaps someday he'll be painfully proven wrong.
Powers
Santonius has no 'powers' per se. He is a mere human man of small physical stature, but anyone can tell upon looking at him that he is no ordinary man. He has an aura of power and confidence, and his intelligence and battle tactics are widely touted. He commands a team of soldiers who are loyal only to him - it is a small team, but enough to suit his needs. These well-trained soldiers are complemented by Santonius' leadership - as well as his high-powered rifle.
Personality
Santonius is a very clever and manipulative man. Everything he does is for one sole purpose... but exactly what that is, only he knows. He is rather aloof, focusing on the "big picture" rather than his minor day-to-day concerns. He fights his own battles, only calling upon others for help when he absolutely must. And once that help has been rendered, he offers no reward or thanks for it. He gives nothing and expects nothing in return.
Strengths
Besides his obvious leadership skill, Santonius is also well-versed in the art of war. Tactics, formations, and counter-attacks seem to be his specialty. He carries a rifle and knows how to use it; he is also known to use a poison-tipped dagger. His men are unflinchingly loyal to him - and him alone. He, himself, is quite well-protected against psychic intrusions, making his mind all but unreadable.
Weaknesses
Despite all his advantages, Santonius is still only human. No man is invincible; even he admits to that. Physically he is quite weak, especially without the protection of his soldiers. Also, though he does not trust anyone in the Rogue Isles, he still finds it necessary to work alongside them. Villains being betrayal-prone as they are, this may eventually lead to trouble.
Supergroup
Santonius is not currently in a supergroup. While he is not actively seeking one, he would gladly join one if he felt it would fit his needs.
