Welcome to the Scandinavian Liberation Army Information Reclamation Project Database. Please keep in mind that we are a new organization and as such do not have vast archives of information at our disposal. However, a large team of historians, journalists, and veterans are currently collaborating to discover the truth behind the exploits of the SLA during the First Rikti War.
The Scandinavian Liberation Army (The SLA) is both Sapphire Streak`s greatest achievement and his most horrible curse. While they no longer exist in an official capacity, stories still circle the world about their continued operations. While records of their actual operations are sketchy at best, mainly due to the ragtag nature of the entire outfit, a few things are known about them.

Origins
The SLA was the brain child of Tyler Anderson (Sapphire Streak), Juliet Boroughs, Edmund To and about 12 other metahuman survivors. Tyler's exact age is unknown, but it has been confirmed that he appeared to still in his teens at the time of the First Invasion. They survived the first battle, but all were captured, excluding Tyler and Edmund. What they did until June 25th 2002 is disputed, but they both learned how to fight the Rikti as well as how to use their weaponry. On June 25th, Tyler attempted to liberate a prison camp full of metahuman prisoners with the help of Juliet and a Swedish commando named Hans Svenson, but many of the freed prisoners were killed, along with Hans.
The Second Battle of Stockholm
The Second Battle of Stockholm began with the liberation of the first prison camp. With the help of the mages and metahumans freed from the prison, Tyler's band of guerillas effectively fortified the camp and organized the freed prisoners into squads. The large amount of Rikti weaponry contained in the armory was enough to arm most of the prisoners, but combined with the armaments in Tyler's stockpiles, the entire group was armed with a combination of human and Rikti technology.

Aftermath of the First War
After the end of the war, many members of the SLA joined the respective militaries of Norway, Finland, and Sweden in an official capacity. Tyler briefly returned to America in order to find his family, but moved to Sweden a month later to assist with the reconstruction efforts. Now a citizen of Sweden, Tyler was approached by the military with an offer of employment as a General. Tyler accepted, and began numerous initiatives to prepare the country for a second Invasion.
The Second Invasion
When the Second Invasion hit, Sweden was ready. The entire military was mobilized within hours and the Rikti were torn apart. By the time Vanguard sent assistance, the Rikti were already losing the war.
The SLAIR Project apologizes for the current lack of information, but we remind you that ours is a massive task. Rest assured, we will continue to search for the truth.
