Screamin' Mimi
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
Virtue was the server chosen by our forum group. Screamin' Mimi was the second character I created once CoH went live. Her backstory just grew as I played her. Her name came from my sister's nickname given to her by her grandmother. See... she was born premature but her lungs were perfeclty formed and fully functional.
(The random button is my friend!) I've been meaning to remake her as a sonic... though I enjoy the thought of her projecting pain into her target's mind as well as tossing them around. I think most of her leveling was exclusively through Task Forces. Tsarmiina

Personality
Petite female, wild hair and even wilder temperament. Unpredictable and volatile. Normally her kind are mishievious troublemakers, following only their whim. This shows in the way she will play with a foe much in the same way a cat will play with it's prey. She's a lonely wanderer who misses her homeland but tries to make the best of what she has, filling a role of superhero as was impressed upon her.
Character History
A very brief and first rough draft of her origin, point of view from someone reading a type of log book as seen in her Crey File:
It appears that the mages were performing a summoning and binding of a particularly nasty type of sprite/imp in a secluded glen of Perez Park. They were waiting for the full manifestation before they began the binding process when a hero stumbled upon their magics and took it upon himself to break up the ritual.
The acolyte seems to finish up the log at another time as the writing from this point on is well written and thought out. The important significance of a sacrifice in this particular summoning is noted several times in the log. It details how the Hero, Inkblaster, targeted the two head Mages with strong energy blasts which broke their control on the spell. The ritual had progressed far enough that the disruption did not dissipate it but rather unleashed it out of control. The sacrificial victim was released from the trance like state and fled from the scene.
Now it seems that whatever ‘energies’ needed by the conjuring were missing and so it was drained by whatever it could grab, namely the mages. With the mages incapacitated, Inkblaster was able to take out the guards with little trouble.
This is the point where the writings are unclear as to what happens. To the best of our understanding, the conjuring was complete but the binding was left open. The binding was to give the newly summoned entity a purpose or mission. We assume the Circle of Thorns were planning on using her against the heroes of Paragon City, which would have been to our benefit also, but Inkblaster must have said or done something at that critical stage which set her on the path of heroism. We are assuming the hero also mentored her in the ways of Paragon and perhaps even gave her the name Screamin' Mimi which is what she registered under for her hero license.
