Personality
Richard was your typical hospital physician. He was quiet, well mannered, although a little disheveled at times due to his hectic schedule. As a child he was bold and rash like most children but his quick-temper was hammered out in medical school. Although he does favor his old ways when lives are on the line. He does his best at what he does, taking most matters personally and not giving up on patients until the last line is drawn. Outside the hospital he's a completely different man, without his job on his mind he's often left direction-less and spends his time in his favorite diner. Sipping coffee discussing the latest news with the waitress. Fortunately (or unfortunately) his hero work has left little free-time to sit and talk, much to Richard's enjoyment.
The Kheld's History
Sepherat's arrival on Earth wasn't his first foray into Peacebringer hero work. Years before he had joined with a female "alien" named Shri'taki to form the peacebringer StellarJewel. Together they battled the Nictus menace in a neighboring system saving dozens on Kheldian colonies from death. But StellarJewel's galactic hero career was cut short when several Void Hunters teamed up and captured the heroine, using dark magic fused with technology to rip the alien girl and energy being apart. Trapped and broken Shria and Sepherat sat and waited for their ultimate fate, only for a last minute light from the heavens in the form of a group of nearby Peacebringers sent to save them. Safe and away from the Nictus taken to the planet Earth by their saviors, Shria and Sepherat found out that because of the technology used to separate them, while they still shared a psychic connection and could sense each otheres location, they could no longer join to form a complete Peacebringer with powers. Stranded on Earth and without powers both agreed that Sepherat needed to find a new host to both sustain his life and continue his peoples campaign against the nictus.
Sepherat's arrival on Earth
Arriving on Earth the kheldian being Sepherat sought to find a suitable human to join him that was as true of heart and eager to help as he was. After days of luckless searching the corners of Paragon City he made an unexpected discovery by the name of Richard, a quiet disheveled doctor in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trapped inside a bank at gun point Sepherat watched as Richard dropped his soft spoken appearance and stood up against the hapless robbers. Taken by the humans sudden valor in the face of danger he made an offer. Joined together Sepherat's persona shown through Richard meek personality, calling themselves by the Kheldian's name. And almost without pause they crafted a uniform and burst onto the super hero scene as one of the newest Peacebringers under the guidance of Sunstorm.
