After numerous background rewrites, @El D finally decided on a story for his first true character in City of Heroes, Seraphimel. Character influences from Harry Dresden, Ghost Rider, and Hellboy.

Supergroup: No official membership, although Dorian has been seen aiding numerous other Super Groups in the past.
Personality
Dorian has often been characterized by friends as a "sometimes funny wise-ass with a short temper". This description fits him fairly well, as his sarcastic remarks and easily aroused ire are usually 'complimented' by the people he works with. However, Dorian has always stood by his friends and is always willing to help those in-need.
Powers
Hellfire
Dorian can wreathe his hands (and occasionally his entire forearms) with magically infused orange flame. The fire allows his attacks to deal much more serious blows than what he could accomplish with just strength alone.
Empyrean Flame
A white-blue aura of fire grants Dorian's body strong resistance to many types of damage, and if wounded, he can concentrate the protective flame to repair himself. This allows him to continue fighting even after sustaining fatal wounds.
Flight, Super Speed, Super Strength
Flight and Super Speed both arise from careful use of the Empyrean Flame and Hellfire, respectively. His normal strength is the lowest form of Superhuman Strength, as without using the Flames, Dorian can only lift twice his body weight (around of 1250 lbs). However, when using the Flames to augment his strength, he has been seen lifting objects within the 25-50 ton range with a fair amount of effort.
Character History
June 9th, 1969- Born in Savannah, Georgia
1980- Mother and Father killed in a house fire, supposedly started by the Circle of Thorns. Dorian was found unharmed by the EMTs when they arrived.
2001- Reported missing for a nearly two weeks just a few days after moving to Paragon City, Rhode Island. A large, demonic figure reportedly appeared outside of a church a few miles away from Paragon City, and was taken in by the group known as the 'Midnight Squad'.
