Personal Information
Background
Serina is, by legal definitions, quite mad. There is a difference between insanity and madness and Serina Bolter falls under the mad category. Serina was born to Dr. Amino and Elijah Thomson. Dr. Amino was a renowned mad scientist who was partially responsible for the Bermuda’s triangle mystery. Dr. Amino dealt with the manipulation of space and time and thus dabbled a lot in the time stream. Eventually she was killed due to unknown circumstances.
Serina Bolter does not remember her real true age or even her birth date. Thanks to the experimentation of time from her mother, Serina looks younger then she really is. Long term effects are still unknown and it could very well end her life prematurely, if she manages not to get killed by herself or someone else.
Through her childhood, Serina had to deal with being the daughter of a mad scientist. This included having being tested on, been in firefights, have used several of nasty devices, torture and been tortured herself. Because of this, she has seen and done things that most people never dreamed of. Also she does not have a high moral standard and does not expect most people to follow those rules either. Serina's madness and her past allow her to ignore pain and the threat of death. It does not mean she does not feel fear; she just does not let her affect her as it would a normal person. When you have your body ripped to shreds in the infinity of the space/time continuum, there is not much else to worry about.
Serina did not quite reach mad scientist status until a bad incident in a lab involving some evil coffee. Details are sketchy at best since no one survived besides Serina and not even she remembers most of the details. Because of this incident, Serina has discovered she can control the flows of electricity. She can actually feel the flow and manipulate it. This means she can "read" any electronic device. But this is still only a side project for her. Her real study is madness.
Personality
Serina Bolter has actually a shared personality inside her head. Both are Serina but have a different view of the world. This happened when a psychic named Uruare attempted to bring Serina be at peace. Ever since then there are two Serina's. One is her old self who giggles and grins a lot. This personality never lies and enjoys throwing people off balanced. The other personality is calmer, easier to get along with. Both personalities know the other is there and both see and hear the same thing but have different views of what it means and what is the best course of action. Both goes by the name of Serina Bolter but when one is talking about the other, the mad personality gores by a different name that is not muttered out loud.
Calm:

Mad:
- Grins and giggles constantly
- Flips a coin whenever she can
- Never lies and always keeps her promises
Equipment
The main feature on Serina is her wings. Manufactured by Serina herself, these wings are directly connected to her nervous system. The wings are separated into two parts, the wings themselves, and a control box. The control box is directly attached to the spinal cord and if removed, will kill her. The wings are detachable although the process is painful. Serina can feel her wings just as anyone can feel their arms and legs.
