The Legend of the Boogeyman
Parents told naughty children tales of him so they would behave, lest they want to be kidnapped by him and never seen again! He is often portrayed in the imaginations of children as the monster in their closets and under their beds. The tales say that the children who were taken were devoured to feed his monsterous appetite! His super long and talon-like nails are ideal for grabbing little children and dragging them away.
