Icesuma Aisukage grew up within a clan of highly trained assassins known in Japanese as "Shinobi". He was trained to become a member of The Deathly Trinity as the Weapon specialist of the team. Going under the code name "Death Shade". The team was lead by the Arcana specialist Death Fathom. The third member of the team was the Martial Arts specialist Death Mirage. The three of them were a special unit that served the clan master directly. Saiyo Aisukage, Icesuma's Father. Once he was told of it. Saiyo ordered the Deathly Trinity to find the Akuma no Kage which translates into The Shadow Demon. Its a sword that if used to kill those of your blood and flesh would grant the wielder the powers of the nine hells. To avoid his clan members catching wind of his idea, He started to recruit Mutants and training them into his new right hand team
The members of the Deathly Trinity started to become curious to this and decided to spy on the makings of this new team of mutants now called simply "X-Tinction". When Icesuma found out about his fathers true plans. The Deathly Trinity launches an ambush on Saiyo Aisukage and the X-Tinction but gets pushed back. The Trinity leave the clan village. Fathom explains to the group about the history of Akuma no Kage. How it contains the soul of a demon. But there was a sister blade. One that contained the gifts of ascension. Ability of foresight.The blade was called the Kaze no Aoi or The Blue Wind. It was chosen since it was Icesuma's father and that Icesuma was the weapons specialist he should be the one to get the sword. They had to go into the heart of mount fuji to retrieve the sword. Icesuma braved the trials of the mountain and retrieved the sword. The Trinity once again Faced the three mutants of the X-Tinction and finally face off against Saiyo. But in the end the swords shattered upon the final blow. But Saiyo grabbed the shattered yet sharp hilt of the sword and used it to kill Icesuma's mother Ayane. Enraged he chased after his father but sadly escaped. It was Icesuma left on the floor with his mothers blood on his hands.
Icesuma now reconstructing the Shadow Lineage into a clan for good but needed to fix his blade. He enlisted the aid of his old friend Emerald Enforcer. Enforcer then told him about a man he met in Praetoria named Fredrick Cain. He was developing a Psionic Booster that could give him the abilities of his sword into his own being. Enforcer and Icesuma went to Praetoria to see Fredrick. But it was already too late. Fredrick was under attack by the PPD. He was able to take the shards of Kaze no aoi into a set of claws and a mace. He then dons a suit and takes the name "Shadow Wing" Based after his family's guardian animal, the Crow. Fredrick asked for one request. To take his son David Cain. To help him fight crime so one day he would come back to fight the PPD. He agreed and Emerald Enforcer, Shadow Wing, And David left Praetoria as Fredrick was gunned down.
So it was done. Icesuma became Shadow Wing and David became Cardinal. The Shadow Lineage had many businesses they had running to help fund their activities. One they owned was Karas Enterprises which made tech gear for the clan but also made house hold appliances for the public. After a year as Shadow Wing things went well until a battle with the Imperial forces of Praetoria came to Steel Canyon. they got a tip of a man known as "Jester" was the one behind the killing Fredrick Cain. David took a Psionic Booster prototype Icesuma had been working on and integrated it into a new suit. He then donned a name in homage to his Sensei Shadow Wing, naming himself Nite Raven. Now using two pistols instead of the Martial Arts Icesuma trained him. To now killing his opponents. Icesuma blaming himself for this as he tries to stop him but fails in all attempts. During this time he invented N.O.R.B.I.R.D. (( Network of Operations Remote Bastion and Internal Resources Droid)) As well as completing the Crow's Nest installation in his Suite at the top of the Karas Estate Tower. On a solo patrol two years later. Shadow Wing was in a burning building trying to rescue the innocents trapped inside. In this unlikely time Shadow Wing met Jon Barton. A 16 year old kid who was insistingly helping Shadow Wing get everyone to safety. During a fight with the Hellions outside of the building. Shadow Wing was able to see the boy had potential. He invited him to the Karas Building and started training him in a weapons form like himself. but in Bo Staff training. Jon soon then became the new Cardinal.
During this time Shadow Wing had one more fateful encounter with Nite Raven. But fighting his Father and a man with a trench coat and insane smile. The man was Jester. He had been in a gun fight with Nite Raven. Shadow Wing Decided to give his Psionic Booster to Nite Raven since his was damaged. He then removed his weapons and had Norbird send them back via Ravens Net. Shadow Wing then used The Crow Suit mk II which Produced energy shields to help guard him and reverted back to his old Martial Arts training That was only taught by the Shadow Lineage known as Kage no Ken which translates in English to The Shadow Fist. The three of them pushed Jester an Saiyo back but had to leave due to Nite Ravens wounds. Now he is working alongside the Global Defense Force as Cardinal and Nite Raven now turned hero again fight in Steel Canyon while Shadow Wing is away.
Shadow has an Arsenal of weaponry at his disposal. He has the remaining weapons of the Kaze no Aoi that have been turned into claws and mace. He has the Crow suit mk I ((Contains a psionic booster to help him perceive time quickly that can also render him invisible. Moderate sensors for use of Crow Vision)) and II ((Produce's Energy Shields that can block almost all forms of attacks and can render him invisible. Has improved sensors and tracking for his Crow Vision to scan things with a direct uplink to Ravens net )). The nest grenades which are a form of web grenades. A jet pack attached to his suit called "Crow Boosters" He has a small droid that links up a connection to Norbird and the Ravens net directly. The Ravens net is a super computer that houses its own software and network. Shadow Wing can use it to bring up files on anyone with a license within the city and is noted to use the computer for detective work within the Crow's Nest. The Crows Nest is the Shadow Wings base of operations inside his apartment suite that is inside the Karas Enterprise building. Its located on the top floor of the building so he has easy access to it either it be by the Wing Boosters or his Jet, The Crow. A highly operational and multipurpose aircraft that can go under water as a sub marine or work in the air as any aircraft.
Giant Metal armored suits that stand 8-9 feet tall called the Crow Armor. Able to take on the biggest of foes that Shadow Wing has to challenge.
It came to Shadow Wings attention he could not be in both Japan and Paragon. He decided it wouldn't be fair to lead the village from a far. He gave leadership of the village to his former team leader Death Fathom. He then chose to leave the clan known as The Shadow Lineage to his hands. Icesuma said his farewells as he traveled back to Paragon. To protect Steel Canyon as its true protector. In this time Icesuma started out low and simple as Shadow Wing. Saving people from burning buildings and stopping bank robberies. He became feared in the face of evil.
One fateful day a experiment of combining DNA to a mutant with unstable mutation genes it grew unstable and broke free. It broke into the city of Founders Falls. Powered Omega tried to subdue the most but failed alone. It then made its way through various districts causing havoc until it found its way to Steel Canyon. Shadow Wing was on patrol and faced off against the monster but it wasn't slowing down. Burning through every gadget The Shadow Wing had. Shadow Wing told Powered Omega to stall him while he prepped the Crow Armor for transport via teleporting by Raven's Net.
Powered Omega was over whelmed and found himself on the ropes. But it was then The Shadow Wing showed up in a giant mech standing as tall as the monster. About eight feet. He over powered the monster and took it down using the Crow Armor's sheer strength and resistance to fire. Powered Omega impressed by the Shadow Wing. Then Offered an invitation to the Global Defense Force. Shadow Wing was not ready to accept and Powered Omega left with the monster to a special holding cell in the Zig designed and funded by Karas Enterprises.
It was in Steel Canyon that Shadow Wing was then visited by another member of the GDF. Lady Marrus, who then talked to Shadow Wing. Offered one more time. Saying that some one like him was needed. To stop not just local crime in Steel Canyon. But global crime. Shadow Wing realizing that he could do more for the world then what he was doing in just Steel. Accepted. Shadow Wing was then officially inducted into the Global Defense Force.
Shadow Wing proved his worth when the Global Defense Force joined forces with the United Underworld. He was able to calm the meeting down to where the two factions were able to work together. He then was able to study the Techno virus with head genius mind of the United Underworld Viscount Von Crey. Shadow Wing was then able to make a frequency emitter to reverse the virus to stop the nano machines from absorbing organics but yet repel from it. The plan was to use the satellites to match the frequency off wrecks and broadcast it to the world. but the problem was wrecks sent nukes into the atmosphere. Some destroying the satellites. But it was up to The Global Defense Force to go back into time and revert wrecks becoming Mechos. Everyone was on board for this plan. Everyone But Shadow Wing. He decided some one needed to shoot down the nukes. He went to the Lambent Dawn to pilot the Dawn Fire into space and shoot down the nukes. In this Process Icesuma decided to call a woman he had been talking to as of late named Leigh Harbaugh. He suggested if he would die. He would want to hear her voice one more time. but thankfully He succeeded in this endeavor but ran out of fuel for both the dawn fire and his Crow Armor mk II. He was then able to teleport back to the Lambent Dawn and it was Nebuleia that removed him from his armor. He was then cheered by his fellow team mates as a hero for risking his life for the world. They celebrated his safe return with laughter's and drinks.
