Lucian Sinardi was never all that special, but was a part of a wealthy family in Founder's Falls. Having just about any luxury at his disposal made him somewhat of a spoiled brat. However he knew his place in his family, that he was heir to his father's fortune. For he was the first born child. As he grew, he coasted through life knowing that if he failed at one thing, he could just go to another since money was never an option. He did finally get a degree in Business Management, but when time came for taking over the reigns of the company it was given to a younger sibling.

In a drunken rage, he visited his brother, killing him. There was nothing to cover up, Lucian was found guilty, but due to being impaired gave him a lighter sentence. Albeit not much. Spending many years in Zigursky he would just sit in his cell glazed over being dead to the world around him. He thought he was going crazy when a voiced started to speak to him. Always asking what do you want, only to tell it leave him alone. Either he had enough of the badgering or he did find something that he wanted. He asked for the return of his brother. Saying he can, restoring as if it never happened, but also saying it would cost him something. Nonchalantly saying he didn't care and just do it. The demon Xaphan did.

With his brother back amongst the living, Xaphan came to Lucian to collect the fee. The contract consisted of Lucian being a vessel for souls, commanding them in one body and bring as many to him as possible. Xaphan wanted more souls to burn as he fanned the flames of hell. Bound by his decision Lucian took the name of Gerasenes, the location where Jesus met Legion.
